Course Curriculum Overview
the course that made me choose this course were real-life implementation and in close proximity to companies that can help in learning more about the subject. Some areas of improvement are that there can be a bit more focus on the skill enhancement and practical exposure to students.
Internships Opportunities
the placement cell takes responsibility for bringing internships to the college and the students need to apply to these internships through a google form. The data of interested students is shared with the company and then the interns are selected. The internships ranges from consulting, market research, marketing, sales, operations, etc.
Fees and Financial Aid
I took the admission in the college in the year 2022 in the course Bachelor of Commerce. The year-wise fees that I have been paying for the past 2 years of my graduation is 13,000 a year. Certain discounts and waivers are given to quota students or students from economically weaker sections. As mentioned tuition fees depends on the course but B.Com. has a fees of rupees 13,000 a year. Examination registration fees is not included in this. It has to be paid every semester that can sum up to be 1500-2000 per semester. It depends on the number of practical examinations one has chosen to appear in.
Campus Life
There are many clubs that one can be a part of ranging from dance to music to consulting to quiz. I was a part of the placement cell of my college and we were responsible for end to end placements of the students of the college.
Admission
I prepared for the competitive exam CUET where I applied for the colleges in Delhi University. My preferred course was B.A. Hons. Economics but due to some unforeseen circumstances, I had to opt for Bachelor of Commerce. My preferred colleges were Hansraj college, Shri ram college of commerce and Hindu college but I couldn't meet the cutoff of the colleges.
Faculty
The teachers are very supportive and understanding regarding the life of students. The experience they hold brings out invalubale changes in the personality of the students. Faculty of our commerce department are very well aware about their subject but less focus is put on the skill enhancement of the students. There are 6 semester exams comprising of 3 core subjects and one general elective and the level of examination is moderate.
Night Life
The nightlife is amazing around my campus because the college is part of the north campus of University of Delhi and there is chilling everywhere around. From cafes to eating out places, the north campus has it all.
