college circcucllum and college faculty members
we have so much freedom in our college and no ragging
here we have tutorial classes once a week to solve our doubts

Dislikes

hostel are very bad and they are always dirty
the main problem in our college is food
here the timings of labs are very hard for students

the circullum in our college is very comfartable to students in our circullum there are no extra classes we have classes in respective time and we have two exams for one semester and we have 2 semester in one year

Campus Life

we have so many fests in our college we have six to seven fests in a year the environment for students in fests is veryeenjoyable we have fests like sports fests everey year and we have recstacy fest which we celebrate in every year

Admission

Actually deppending on our jee mains rank we have to choose our respective college in councelling i had choosen all nit in our country but depend on my rank i choose nit durgapur and my brother is studying in this college

Faculty

the faculty in our nit durgapur is teaches us very clear and they are always available to us to solve our doubts. they are very helpful to us in our lab sessions and preparation for examinations and lab exams

Night Life

we have a beautiful gymnasium in our college in that gymnasium al, the equiment required for the students is available the gymnasium is oen at all the time in the day we have a big library in our college

Reality of Jis college of engineering

Placement Experience:

The students get eligible at 3rd year 6th sem. Though before that you can do internship or freelancing which will increase the weight of your profile. The percentage of student getting placement is around 60-70% and the average package is around 4-5lakhs per annum. The highest package got by a student previous year was around ?10lakhs per annum.

Remarks:

Provide decent jobs to most students. Faculties are helpful and teach well. You can issue 3 books at a time from the library once your library card is made. Classes are held to enhance your communication skills. A lot of items in the canteen and cafeteria. No ragging. There is no ground to play. Very strict rules, has a lot of restrictions. Most students call it a jail, cause you cannot bunk classes. But believe me, it will shape you into a good human being and you will also get placed if you put your effort. Best of luck for your college life.

Suggestions for selecting good choice

The factors that made me to choose this Institute is the infrastructure and location of the institute and also the placement statistics. Institute also has good faculty who can be the mentor for you if you a have a good relationship with them. And also we can explore the culture of West Bengal if we are not from West Bengal. Perspective's View

I got this in josaa counselling and it turned out to be pretty good.The admission process was smooth in the online way also I have asked from seniors, it was quite the same for offline as well.The coding and development environment of the college is quite helpful and has emerged. Seniors aren't that helpful but will make you learn a lot. The co curricular activities are extra ordinary and will make you occupied for whole of the college duration and also would develop your overall personality. The faculty here is involved in researches which was the main factors I chose this college. The infrastructure of the college is being rebuild gradually and within 4-5 yrs it will be complete.Overall I am satisfied from what I got and have to look forward to advantage of stuffs provided by the college....Read More

NIT durgapur is one of the good option for btech if anyone is not qualified to good and old IIT. Nit durgapur has ranked 4th position among all NIT's and 30th among all engineering college including all IIT's in NIRF ranking 2021. Admission is done through the qualification in JEE mains. As my rank in JEE advanced was not so good to secure a seat in IIT and my desired branch. so, I was trying to get a seat in top NIT. Thenafter jossa councling I got placed in NIT durgapur and in Metallurgical and Material science engineering. For jossa councling I was in guidance of Mr. Amit ahuja who is the chief counsellor of Allen Kota. It is highly recommended youtube channel for jossa councling.
