GEC palakkad review

Right now iam in first year and my first sem is over it only lasted for three months we had 2 internal exams lab exams and end sem exam in this time period so it was difficult to study all these in this short time span, in first sem frequency of exam is like more than one exam in each month

Students are eligible for placement in fourth year , TCS and Infosys visit usually and other newly started edtech companies and startups and some core company too , my plan is to get a high paying job thorough placement and if i couldn't make it I will take masters form some premium institutes

15180 in first year 14165 in second year 14340 in third year 12785 in fourth year This includes 6300 Tution fees per year ,special fee of 1740 per years and other special fee of 370 per year, examination fee , student admission fee , affiliation fee , arts and sports fee

Have a very good library with more than 10000 books , facilities are average , have clubs in almost all fields even fashion clubs , armwrestling clubs etc, have participants in all sport events many are selected in interzone teams and state teams , since its government college we students run all the clubs and conducts the programs

I have applied for three colleges one is mes Kuttipuram which is private I have got allocated a seat there in second allotment since it is a private college I chose gec Palakkad over that, also I had applied to gec Thrissur but couldn't get a seat because of my rank

Have more than 10 faculties in each year for 67 students so it's about 10:67 but the teachers change in each year especially in first year, the faculty I like the most is Vinita Mam she is a gem, very kind caring supportive also too good at teaching . There are 2 internal exams and a end sem exam also some teachers conducts tests after each modules , internal exams are moderate level while in end sem exams there is bit difficulty, also can't find previous year question papers since this is a new scheme this year

Have a gym near to college hostel which is not so good but have basic equipment's , boys don't have any restrictions usually but girls have restrictions after 9 or 9:30 and also have 3 small cafés nearby and good restaurants in 4km range. Have small corners for each departments consisting of swings and small seatings , there is not much danger to roam in night
