KIIT Should You join or not

KIIT advertises with 100% placements and most of the students join because of this reason . Yearlong in 1 semester two exam are taken including one mid semester and one final semester exam . The course is not fully upto real world applications but same like it was provided 3-4 years before.

Placements are good but If you are a very aspirited person or wants a career like that Don't join here as the most of placements is done by mass recruiters and not product based comapnies . Some good startups and comapnies do come but you have no idea why you did'nt get shortlisted etc .

Total Tution fees is 175000 per semester which include everything and the fees is always increasing like for new batches it's 210000 . It's a private university so no reservation is provided based on caste and category . One scholarship that is provided is provided via KIIT Scholarship program , if the students wants to avail this scholarship they need to be a top performer in KIIT entrance exam and during the course maintaining a CGPA above 9 .

KIIT fest is conducted every year , its a event some singer gets invited and you have to pay a fees of 450 this year for this event . The range of books and journal is great you can get everything you want in the library . The infrastructure is great for sports and if we look at socializing , every things is good great campus life and social groups , clubs.

We have multiple options for hostel rooms like 3 beded non ac , 2 beded ac etc based on your personal choices you can choose .The meal quality is good and better than other colleges , liek other colleges we have student comittie insisde hostel for food .

I had multiple colleges , I was'nt able to break into top IIT's and NIT's so I joined KIIT as it was near my home state . I didn't get any rejection from other colleges I had the option to choose between Ramiah and KIIT.

The faculty is great and some of them are really great teachers and can teach the subject reallly well , Faculty in KIIT are friendly and they are always ready to help the student , My favourite teachers were DR Alok Kumar Jagadev and DR Anil Swain . Exam are of normal level and no gaps are provided betwwen the exams . Course Curriculum is easy and aimed at fast paced learning .

Most of the things around KIIT is good , including gyms and cafe , pubs , bars but everything is priced above normal rate . Hostel timmings for girls is max 7:30pm upto 3rd year. and for boys it increases , Famous Hangout places are : Chaibar , Khaogali , inside campus Mba garden , campus 6 .
