i have always loved the accounting and negotiating aspect of commerce that inspired me to choose bcom as my further study couse . as far as i have studied the couse is quite relevant in terms of effectiveness. as the major part of the theory subjects are based on the practical application of management rules it. it makes it easier to apply it in real life . but still i feel that sometimes the bookish language make the most interesting topics into the most boring ones . that makes us student not to study them properly so the language and the carriculum can be more pragmatic to make it more effective . the exams timing is fixed it does not depend on the difficulty level of the subject so you have to grasp the subject in the given time of period to attempt it well in examinations .

i dont have much idea about the internship opportunity as im a fresher but there are many opportunities keep on coming for uur seniors from time to time and they are quite delighted with the experience and the stipend . though sometime it can be quite dissappointing as well

as im new i dont have much knowledge about the palcement cell of our college but a smuch as i have heard from my seniors they told me that the placement cell of maitreyi college is quite active and the average packagae that has been of around 200000 per annum . and the highest package from our course has been of 24 lack per annum . but i want to do company secretory course along with this course and after thet ill go ahead for my masters along with my internships ..

so the fee that i paid for this course of mine was 13000 rupees per annum . but as per the rules as the years increases the fees increases slightly . the fee variation is there for the reserved categories but not much . apart from the fees there is not any amount that you need to pay throughout the semester but you do have to pay the examination fee which would be between 1200 to 2000 depending on the course and year . i personally am is not aware about any kimd of scholarship programs in college.

the campus life here is quite happening and joyful as the student and teacher crowd here is good and helpful and non arrogant. the books in the library are in good condition and of new edition as well . there are many smart classrooms and computer labs that provide and cover most of the technological provisions . most importantly we have our own e_library that any student can access . we also have may clubs and societies that a student according to their interest fields .

as i got the admission into this college of delhi university through the cuet examination you get the college according to the marks that you have scored and the prefrence list that you have made . so personally i made the prefrence list of around 20 colleges and i got maitreyi according to my marks .my college is a girls college but its really beautiful with a cosy environment. but as compared to other colleges of south campus the area wise size of my college is slightly smaller than them.the admission experience was good .

the student to teacher ratio is is good as there are sufficient teachers according to the students.all the faculty of commerce department id quite friendly and approachable . they help you as much as they can without complaining much.there are exams every 6 months according to semester . the exam paper is moderate not too easy not too difficult to ateempt . maximum students pass the exams easily.

as i dont live in hostel of my college i can only tell thet the curfew timings are 6 in th evening and sfter that no one is allowed to enter or exit the campus . as our college exist in an embassy area we cant do much due to tight army security but 1 km away from the college is a student area here we can enjoy our night life we have many cahfeterias and hanging out spots within that specific area and all the basic necessities are available there.
