Remarks
Amazing college with a mixed variety crowd. They could work on the infrastructure and also include more dining options around.BMSIT is in one of the top colleges in the city.It has quality education, management and experienced faculty. It quiet near by to Yelahanka and has a good network of public transport. The placement training and also the number of recruiter companies is quiet good
Course Curriculum Overview
the curriculum is VTU. VTU is often considered to have a strict correction whereas regarding the syllabus is basic and very straight forward. But students need to take precaution while writing the external examinations because they tend to lose marks in the external corrections.Considering all of the above autonomous colleges are best preferred. BMSIT might consider changing to autonomous but it would take a few years.
Internships Opportunities
Yes the college does provide internships and they are very resourceful regarding placement training and providing decent employment opportunities.I cannot give you a proper review as i am currently still studying there.
College Events
BMSIT has the friendly crowd. Keep no worries about it. My seniors have been very friendly and were supportive whenever we(juniors) needed them. There might(a very weak possibility) be slight differences in the class during the initial semesters but cultural events and fests will help you gel more with your classmates and folks of other departments.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The admission process was pretty simple. It was divided into KCET , COMEDK and Management quota allotment. Depending on what quota you were selected in the respective admission process was undertaken.Based on what quota you are a part of you have respective fees.

Campus Life
Offers most of the standard courses. Labs are well equiped with high specs computers in all CS labs. Closely associated with BMSCE when it comes to placements so you’ll have tonnes of companies visiting. Is on its way to become an autonomous institution. Has techincal groups like IEEE, TFSC (the free software club), TedX , they conduct regular tech/motivational talks to engage the students. Part of the Melton foundation (google about it)
Hostel Facilities
Lush green campus with new buildings coming up. Plenty of bmtc buses ply to the college, and the college is right next to the main road. Close to yelahanka (4.5 kms) which has really good places to hang out, and a mall is coming there as well.
