Course Curriculum Overview

the course which i opted is computer science with data science, i chose this course as data science is a really promising future and there is a lot of scope in this course there is a semester exam for every 6 months and mid examinations for every 3 months

Class Size: 64Course Fees: INR 110000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

my yearly fees for the course which i opted is around 1.1L per year (?110000) I dont have any kind of reservation and also i didnt apply for any scholarships there are various scholarships available for the students

Campus Life

the campus life is really good in this college as there are many fests happening frequently the library is also really good and has many books which are useful for the students the classrooms and the facilities are really good

Admission

i have got into this college through the telangana eamcet counselling i also applied for many top colleges in hyderabad but didnt get a seat in them one can get a seat in this college through counselling

Faculty

The faculty to student ratio is decent and the student to faculty relationship is also good as the faculty is really helpful and help the students when they have any kind of problem there are class tests , mid exams and semester exams and theyre easy if you are well prepared

Night Life

the gym is really good but has few rules which have to be followed in order to access the gym the canteen is okish the hostels are really good and hygienic hostel life is also really good the locality is also safe

Decent college with good facilities

Placement Experience:

From 4th year 1st semester, the students become eligible for campus placements. About 10-15 companies visited our college with minimum 3 lpa. And only 30% of students are placed in the campus placement. Companies like virtuza, movate, cognizant, hcl visited our campus for placement. The highest package was 4.5 lpa and lowest was 2.8 . My plans after getting degree is work in a reputed mnc.

Placement Experience:

Generally, students from 3rd year second semester are eligible for the placements. some, who are interns at a company earns the place to proceed for the rest of life. some others should try harder because they didnt get the internship. It is important to get internship. Companies do visit vasavi such as visa, silicon labs, cisco and more to pick interns or to pick engineers. percentage around 60-70 gets placed every year. Actually placements decreased after the recession.

My honest experience at MLRIT till now

I did apply to colleges like VNR and GRIET during counselling but based on my rank I only got a confirmed seat in MLRIT in the first round. So we visited the campus before even thinking about second counselling. After seeing the college, classrooms and labs me and my parents got a good feeling and the vibe was solid. Plus it’s not far from my home so travel is easy too. After that I didn’t even bother going for second round because we felt this college was the right fit for me. The admission process was through TS EAMCET counselling. You need to qualify the EAMCET exam and based on rank you get the seat. There are cutoffs for each branch and CSE usually has the highest cutoff. Once I got the allotment letter we just visited the college and finished admission formalities in the same week....Read More
