VIT a place for some but not for all

The course cuuriculum upto the first year is pretty vague and they still teach you basic sciece topics and only include the coding language i.e python and c/c++. from the second year onwards we get pretty well prepared for the outer world as the way of teaching cganges and the students are independant. The courses can be imporved by providing more practical classes and teach real life application from the start go.Every one month there are 3 main exams and in between then there are quizes and assignemnets taken by the faculty perosnally.

Interenships opportunities are good but students have themeselves go and find internships if they want other ones other than the ones offered but vit vit sends mails to students allerting aboyt internships and the interested students can do so by following the instrucutions Students acn work with the faculty to work on projects of various branches there are no obligations to do so.

Studnets can apply for the placement process in the 4th year of their btech course i.e the 7 th semester The companies thet visit us are Microsfot ,Amazon,Google,Cisco ,Deloitte,EY and KPMG product based companies like PayPal,Zoho and Adobe. Numebr of offers from all the streams in cluded in 7,000+ Highest package is around 1.02 crore,Average package is aorunf 8/10- lakhs for cse related streams 90+ percent f students gets olaced in cse and it related branches. My future plans to join a top tier firm and to then open my owen mutli billion dollar empire

The year wise fee of our course changes due to the type of hostel we opt for. Tuition fee for btech cse core 4 year course is roughly 24 lakhs. caution fee tobe registered was 15,000,and all other fee was included in out tuitiion fee that would be given yearly wise. There is a category system whre students canf get duscount on their prices for their btech 4 year course. I have enrolled in this course at category 4 and am paying 24 lakhs jy friedn who is in category 2 is paying 20 lakhs,many scholraships are provided to students who excel in their respective fields. For some people this cost is not affordable and have to take loans from the bank whereas for others its affordable.

There are two main fets the GRAVITAS the tech fest and RIVERA our cultural fest gravitas is aorund septemenber and rivera is around februrary mid .They are held in a good manner many guests and spekareers are called ot initiated our fests We have a wide variety of books and journals in our library from SC-Fi to philosophical A_Z weve got everything Sports are vital aspect here as many students go out every evening and early morning to play circket,basketabll,football. Most of the clubs are managed by students and they have done a good job in doing so

The new constructed blockas are well maintained but the older ones need maintainance in their toilets fans lights and furniture overall the hostel is livable and a student can manage easily We get tj=he rooms offered online after ggetiing out v=category and we can apply for our favourable shring bed room and type ac or non ac right out front of our college we have PG where many students live

I applied for BITS and didnt get the required degree i wanted i was gettong 5 years course and wanted a 4 year btech cse course which was being offered to me by this college i gave JEE and got many other college but they didnt have the tag that vit vellore provides thus i took this decision The admission process of my college is through giveng VITEEE exam thta is mcq based test according to that you get yore rankinga nd category and you can apply for youre desired branch to study in.

for every 70 students there is atleast 2 faculties if the students is well behaved the the relation between the faculty and the students is quite nice and can have a good bond formed between them. I like DR Sumathi S she was my chemistry teacher that is becayse the way she taught me in the firt sem was really good and i had intrest in all her lectures. Personally i didnt not like any faculty with others i just went a mindset to learn and leave and get my work done and checked there arre 3 main exam cycles named CAT 1,CAT 2,Fat these arre continuous assesement test 1 so one and final assesemnt test CAt1 is closed book of 50 marks whereas CAT2 is open book and of 50marks too FAT is of 100 marks and is close book thr level of these test are average not that hard

The night life is not quite active as everuon is in their rooms the whole night as there is a crufeq=w time for leaving our blocks i.e 9 pm Famoyr hangout spots near our college is the karigir hills ,kanchingiri hill, many cafes just out front our college and nearby we have chennai and ondicherry to visit the beaches and have a fun stress buster of a trip.
