Course Curriculum Overview

3

I am. a student of electronics engineer and i think the syllabus of every government colleges are quit same, and i know everyone is going for cse and it and i want to do another thing thats why i choose electronics engineering. Everyone knows how the indian education systems is so i don't think i have to talk more about the syllabus. Midsem exam timing is 1hr and semester exam timing is 2hr.

Fees and Financial Aid

The yearly fee i have paid 30000 in 1st year including some extra admission fee, exam fee and another expenses. Tution fee is 22000/year and examination fee 950/year and another charges are included in tution fee. we have five departments of btech in our college and all have same fee structure. Its a central university and its low fee structure help many financially weak students a lot. like there is no any need of scholarship due to its low fee said by university professors while otherwise they also aware us when new scholarships schemes available for students.

Campus Life

4

Campus is too good and many functions have been done like seniors took our freshers party and ananta fest and many more fest is being held by students. There is no any technical fest in this college. Availability of book is too good they have their separate big library for students. Smart board and other facilities are also provided in the classrooms I don't think they mainly do more focus on sports. Many seniors are running social groups clubc or student portal for students

Admission

I have applied for many colleges like bbau and delhi university and many more. But i choose this college because of the low fee structure and the location benefit for my competitive preparation. you can get admission in this university by CUET exam and jee exam also.

Faculty

4

In my batch aproxx 40 students of class and 1 teacher for per subject per semester. it would be change semester wise. Teachers are too good well behaved with students with understanding nature. I like a teacher of my electrical engineering he is too good because of his cool nature. Actually i like everyone but one of the physics faculty OP sir is unlike by many reasons because of his strict nature. There is two exams per semester in which first one is unit test and another one is semester exam. Exam are quit moderate not too difficult not too easy. Course is relevant according to syllabus.

Night Life

3

they have provided gym facilities for students and it is quit good and cafeteria, libraries are also well maintained. There is lack of availability of boys hostel in our college. Many famous places for hangout outside and inside the college like a suri mandir outside the college and many more mountains are there students can hangout.

Godrej, Infosys and likewise tech and non-technical companies which have decided to have some AI engineers in their ranks are coming to our college. Also since our college don't have such big strength like the private universities have and therefore placements final figures may be small but in all, our percentage of placements are better and higher than those of the private universities.

Oracle has been the biggest find of GEHU as before GEU, they hire students of our college. The reason is that we have given 20+ students to Oracle so far and they all have been doing well there. So almunus of our college has made our placements stronger by bringing the same companies to our campus for placements year after year.

In GEU, placements are good and this was the main reason I took admission here. Companies visits here from Hyderabad offices and even Pune offices who doesn't just gives us jobs but intenrships opportunities too. Around 20% of the students even get PPO as our college teaching and training is such that getting job here is a cakewalk.

Im a first year student so i have not seated in placement but there are so many companies that visit iit roorkee for placements, like google, microsoft, ibm, oracle, etc Highest package secured by a student this year is 1.5 crore. Nearly 95 percent of students get placed every year for sure. My plans after degree is to get placed and do my job.

At our college placements happen in 7th semester and those who are left a special Day Zero is organized for them. So in short all get the opportunity to give their shot at it and around 80% gets placed as well. I have decided to pursue M.Tech and therefore I have started preparing for the entrance and our college provides assistance in that as well.

Tula Institute has a policy where students have to have a severe training during the second year. Communication skills and all are very important for a engineering student and we are taught that in the training program. So finally comes the placements and around half the batch is seen getting placed every year from our college.
