Mata sundri overview

The course curriculum of statistics is kind of okay but not so advanced for industry levels it is hard. In placements bcom and b.Elled courses are preferred. The sec and vac course system is poor students and teachers both get stressed. Labs are not sufficient for students at times. But for statistics students there are good labs assigned like lab 5 it is the best lab in college.

When i took admission i paid around 28000 fee for statistics honors in MSCW DU. The next year it was around 30k. I did not get any scholarship nor reservation i got admission through CUET exam. Omly single amount of fee is to be paid and no extra charges. There is some relaxation for SC, ST students and also it is a sikh minority college so sikh students also get benefits in admission.

Our college has a gurudwara and it also conducts Bani kirtan every year. Fests are held but not so highly recommended. Ethnic days freshers farewell job fairs etc are held often. The library of our college is big and well maintained. Books are in good conditions and mostly available. The classroom facilities are not so good not clean most of the times. No smart boards only few rooms with projector. NCC and NSS are very active in the college but since im not into sports and our ground is also not inside the college and too well maintained i dont know much about the sports in the college. The other activities are also not so much encouraged.

I applied to symbiosis and NNIMS also and i got mumbai campus too but did not go there because of the extreme fee and because i want to do masters as well and cannot afford lakhs of fee for both graduation and masters. Admission in Mata sundri college is through CUET exam conducted by NTA.

Talking about the statistics faculty it is quite good. The overall faculty and staff cannot be judged by me. Statistics department does not have many students nor multiple sections so student to teacher ratio is also good. There are exams which are mid sem and end sem so every sem has 2 exams. Students can give their ER exam in alternate semester like if you failed in 1st sem yoj can give retest in 3rd sem.

The canteen is very big food is okayish not so good not so bad. There is a gym but noone goes to it even there is a creche also but always closed. No hostel there you can take a pg near gtb nagar or laxmi nagar. CP one of the most famous places in delhi to hangout is very near to the college famous market Janpath is also near. Ito is a very safe place especially since it is a women's college it is at the best location with respect to safety concern.
