Course Curriculum Overview

The various computer languages integrated into the course which are instrumental in acquiring jobs in the tech world. But the absence of an updated syllabus lacks the students off learning about the latest advanceme6in the tech world

Class Size: 66Course Fees: INR 90000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Internships are not provided directly by the college faculty. Students have to find interships for themselves by learning various skills and applying for companies the wish to work for. The .kst companies that provide internships are tata elixi and infosys

Placement Experience

Campus placements are provided adequately in the college. The campus placement facility of the college are provided for the third year students. The highest packages offered was 12 lakh per annum and lowest was 3 lakh per annum according to my knowledge

Fees and Financial Aid

The yearly fee for general category management seats are around 90000 and for state merit seats are around 40000. The fees for NRI quota availing students are around 120000 rupees. Scholarships are provided for children of backward classes and ex army officers respectively

Campus Life

There are various clubs prevalent int he college. They range from technical to cultural to sports. The existence of these clubs are very beneficial to the students in finding their hidden strengths and talents which helps them to move forward in life

Admission

I had applied for both college of engineering trivandrum and sree chithra Thirunal College of engineering for the computer science stream. But due to my rank I missed out ona seat in cet and got admission here

Faculty

The faculty to students ratio is appropriate to ensure the proper running of the education purposes. The faculties dailry approachable. The pace at which courses are taken is not appropriate and a bit too fast. Proper referal materials are not available .

Night Life

The college has a staircase with a shade tree in the centre of the campus which is the most common spot for students to unwind themselves after a hard day of classes or even a hard day in life . The college canteen also is a common hangout spot . Students are not allowed inside campus after 6:30pm

Very nice experience. Its very easy to use, and so much helpful.

Remarks:

Its very attractive College. But somehow a little bit strict. Have very good academics. Extra curriculum activities etc. College ambiance is very nice. Faculty members are very nice. Nice hostel and canteen.

Remarks:

Positive remarks is the college is autonomous because we are directly under the Cochin University of Science and Technology. So the CUSAT name plays a big role in whole Kerala. The certificate has a big value. In case of negative remarks, some works are not doing properly, like small maintenance work and all.

A quick sneak peak to SCT College of Engineering

I acually applied for Emmanuel college vazhichal for the curse of biotechnology andbotany . I got the admission right away but the problem was with the distance. A closer look at the hidden gems of campus living

I totally applied only to three colleges. I choose this college because at that time it was in top 11 colleges in kerala. On the trial allotment itself i got merit seat in this college.This college was near to my home district. I didn't get rejected from other two colleges . To get admitted We have to clear keam exam conducted by the kerala government. To have a merit seat one must have comparatively good rank. Seats are also available in management quota and nri.
