Remarks

Good remarks would be very good college in terms of placements, infrastructure, junior senior relationship, alumni network. The only problem is that a few faculties are not sincere and honest in their work.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

They have very organized course curriculum. From the very first year you will be taught all the basic subjects and there are many subjects to built other soft skills like communication skill, and you are also taught philosophy, English, finance etc , apart from your core subjects.

Internships Opportunities

Yes, they provide internship. Maximum companies who come for placements offer internship to the third year students also. In most of the cases the internship is also converted to pre placement offer. So, getting internship assures you of getting the job in the same company. The stipend vary from 0-1.5lakhs per month, depending on the interest of companies. I got intern in Tega industries, which is a mining solution provider, the overall experience was really good, I learnt many things there and enjoyed alot because in intern you are never overloaded with work so you get sufficient time for yourself.

Placement Experience

5

It was plan of our placement executive to call 400 companies from all over the world and and yes around 300-350 company visited our campus this year. So placement is never an issue, if you are interested to get a job then there are ample opportunities.

College Events

5

There are numerous amount of events celebrated in our college. To name a few: Concetto (technical fest), parakram (sport fest), srijan cultural fest, hackfest for coding and many other events like khanij for mineral engineering, khanan for Mining Engineering etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is quite fee feasible in any of the government colleges. And most importantly, there are number of scholarship bright students and economically poor students. Schedule caste and tribe students doesn't have to worry about the fee because they are provided with fee waiver in any case.

Fees and Financial Aid

There are many scholarship provided to students.Mostly the students whose family income is less than 6lakhs, get fee waiver and also top 25% students from each department gets extra amount of 800-1000 rupee per month along with fee waiver.

Campus Life

4.5

Labs have all the instrument required for testing ad they work nicely. Most of the labs have AC connection. For sports, there are 2 big grounds and also badminton , volleyball and basketball courts in each hostel.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

There are more than sufficient number of hostels to accommodate all the students. There are separate hostel for boys and girls. 5 hostel for boys , 3 for girls and one for foreign students. They have facilities for water coolers, badminton ,basketball and volleyball courts along with a decent size room.

Alumni/Alumna

The most beautiful thing of this college is the senior junior relationship and it's alumni network. Our alumni are there in all good companies all around the globe and they are very supportive because of the culture of ISM.

Exam Structure

The exam structure consists of 2 exams per semester along with quizzes and class tests depending on the interest of concerned faculty.60 marks from end semester , 30 marks for mid semester and 10 marks is based on class test, quizzes etc.

Admission

For getting admission in any of the IITs, firstly you need to clear an entrance examination known as JEE mains conducted by CBSE and then after that you need to qualify IITJEE Advanced conducted by IITs.

Faculty

3

In my opinion, it is surely among one of the best colleges of India. It has good overall faculty, decent infrastructure, sport facilities, but most importantly the junior-senior relationship of this college is beyond words and better than any of the colleges I know. The seniors are very helpful and the college also has very good alumini base.

From 5th Semester onwards student are eligible for internship but from 7th semester they are allowed to sit in campus. Various companies like PayPal, Wipro , cognizant ,TCS ,Genpact ,Amdocs etc. Highest Package this year is 35 lpa and Average Package is around 7.5 lpa. Around 90% of students from circuital branch and around 80% students from non-circuital branch has been placed so far this year. My plan is prepare very smartly for campus placements and bag a very good PPO from are tech based company.

Placement Experience:

on every occasion they will charge the students, there is no good placement, every year they increase the exam fee, students are not regular its poor then government colleges just pay penalty and your attention will be full, its like correspondence course they are running huge but and regular power cuts unhealthy canteens, political motivated administration and management. There expenditure in infrastructure is huge which is best for love birds its like park or garden. Overall all not dedicated to education.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculise fully designed on national education policy 2020. Focuses more on extracurricular activities than core subjects. Because reply is designed on the basis of UGC guidelines which is a good thing for different competitive exams that are design by UGC. I will say semesters are to short that all till now my all four semesters has been glitter in about 4 months each that should be of duration of 6 months.
