Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum of KTU university is very tough . But it is still crackable with help of the faculties present in this college. The teaching methods used by the staffs are very helpful.One should experience it to know more about it.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 84000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees for management is Rs 84,000 . The fees of my friend , who joined in merit is Rs 20,000 . For SC/ST , the fees is 1000 . For me, the tuition fees is Rs 34,000 . Admission fees is Rs 20,000 .

Campus Life

SCT is a dream come true college. Even with a small campus, they made it to the top 5 colleges in Trivandrum. The different paths offered to the students through the clubs are enormous. If you like cinema , sports, arts, dance, singing, everything have there own club and its a very joyous life in here.

Admission

I chose SCT college because it is near to my house. And from 10th standard onwards, I had a liking to go the college. The college is very well known for its campus placement. The teaching staff present here are too good.

Faculty

The SCT college is known for its well systemed marking system as the faculties very keen and serious about the marks secured by the students. No fraud marks will be given for the students. The series exams are crackable.

Night Life

There is no hostel in here. But there are a lot of hostels nearby. within 1km radius. the nightlife in campus is not good in normal days, but if there is any fest or any kind of dj or dance programs or concerts, the college is lit

Experience as a first year student at NIT calicut

Placement Experience:

Here we recieve a really high number of offers this year it was around 970, The highest package received this year was 44.42 lpa and average was around 12 lpa Accenture, Bharat electronics limited are few of the top hirers, intel and nvidia also hire from here they are more relevant for ece students The percentage of students getting placed is 81% I will most probably try for a direct placement, I'm not thinking about higher studies(MTECH)after UG but that might change in the future

College Feels Like Home

Placement Experience:

The placement department in our college is great and is always trying to bring good companies to the college. The placement training starts from semester 7. Our top recruiter include Infosys, TCS, Wipro, NocoBD, Delloite, etc. and our mechanical, civil, EEE,ECE all got placements with avg of 4lpa.The highest package where 12 Lpa for SAP. My plans is to get a good job and lead a stable life.

Placement Experience:

Students in 7th and 8th semester are eligible to sit for campus placements. Companies like Oracle, Goldman Sachs, L&T, Bajaj, Caterpillar and PSU's like BEL,HPCL and BPCL come to the college usually the coding companies offer aroung 35-40 LPA CTC and the core PSU companies offer around 17-18 LPA. Highest Package is 51 LPA and an Average Package of 12 LPA. Nearly 85% students from Circuit and CS branch get placed and around 60% in core branches who sit for placements, My plans after getting the degree is to join MBA to learn how business world works and how the money flows

My honest review of ICET

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible for attending campus placement from semester 7. Some companies that visits ICET are Utc global, Layland, DeltaX, etc. The average package given by the companies are 3 lpa. The percentage of students getting placed are around 40%. I plan to placed at any company.

I choose this college because it has vibrant campus life and freedom.It also has good placement records,good pass percentage. I also took due to distance advantage.This college also has good faculty, teaching. Although the campus is small, the infrastructure is well maintained. It has well structured labs.I also looked for cet, Trivandrum but I didn't get it because of my keam rank. The exam accepted for the course is keam and most of the students prefer it. A look inside Sct - Campus life, Academics and more

The main reason I chose this college was because this as under the Government of Kerala. It is held jointly by both government and ksrtc. This the standard of teachers will be better than other private colleges and campus life would be better as well. I have gotten confirmed admission from Amritha University and FISAT. I chose Sct because of the above given reason and also because of its location in trivandrum. I had applied to both Cet and Gect but I didn't pass the cutoff. The admission price for SCTCE is through KEAM which is held by the government of Kerala.
