Likes

I liked the faculty, they are very helpfull. Then the infrastructure and other facilitirs were also good .they have big area and beautifull green campus with good surrounding . They have good classrooms and labs . And hostels are nice with good food.
They have good gym and canteens . Also they have good sports and events facilities .
U get to work on diffrent projects giving u a real world knowledge of things

Dislikes

I did not liked the crowd in the campus its too much
Also the back students get in exams is little too much .
Not good in terms of fees . Its little too much

Course Curriculum Overview

* Curse is relevant to gather industry and real world knowledge . * Areas of corrections is that they shouldbnot teach old things like 8085 and 8086 microprocesors . They should teach new technologies like generative ai etc. *exams are average and in 2 months gap.

Class Size: 80Course Fees: INR 250000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

* The yearly fees which i paid is approx 240000. * Tutions fees is 190000, then comes admission fees which is approx 15000, lab fees and other utilities is 4000, then traveling fees is 2000, then comes exam fees is 180000, rest is other . * there are scholarships based on 10th and 12th percentage . Also uttarakhand domicile which is 25 percent . So my few batchmates pay 170000 yearly . It varies .

Campus Life

* Grafest, arrambh and other events takes place frequently and are pretty good . * All necesary books are available in library. *facilities provision is not that strict . *sports activities take place frequently. *yes lot of students run nss and ncc .

Admission

* I chose this college over others because i was already late to take admissions so i took on recommendation but it turned out to be good. *I did not applied to other colleges . *admission process is simple . Merit based . Just come and get process done

Faculty

* the faculty is students ratio is 30 is to 70 . Which is average. Rest teachers are good and helpfull *Ashish garg sir is good there . He handles placements activities there . * there is no body whom i did not liked. *there is mid sem exam and end sem exam . And they are average . 70 percent pass and rest get back .

Night Life

* gym is good and i did it in campus for 3 year its good. And its closes at 8 in evening . Library also closes at 8. * hostel is strict . No outgoing after 8 pm . *outsdie campus mussorie and buddha temple etc are famous

Geu provides best intenrships!

Placement Experience:

In GEU placements are like such that we don't have to bother at all. We are approached by placements cell in the 5th semester and then are trained for the whole month and then university urges us to go for internships to have the required exposure and have a CV which can impress the recruiters first hand. Thus, we get placement which median as of now is 8.5 lakhs.

GEU has the best Placements!

Placement Experience:

McKinsey, Oracle, NVIDIA, Google, TCS, Deloitte and many more come here for placements. Around 15-20 students in 2025 had placements worth over 40 lakhs and four students managed to grab placements worth 50 lakhs or more.

The placements of the students in the college is satisfactory. This year the students of third year grabbed a placement of 18 LPA . Wipro and TCS visits the campus frequently. The highest package is of 43 LPA and the average stands at 6-7 LPA.. the percentage of the placements is nearly 90-95%..

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements from 7th semester of Btech course. Companies like BigOH, GrowUp, L&T, Rubico, QI Technologies, Mahindra, BEL, etc. visit the campus for on-campus placements and the no. of placements in the year 2023-24 was 113. The placement details are given in the official website of the college. The highest package offered was 12 LPA by BEL and the lowest was 3 LPA. Most of the students go for GATE and don't sit for campus placements. I would go for GATE for higher studies.

Untold Truth

Placement Experience:

Campus placements starts after completion of degree although students apply for internships from 3rd year, many companies like amazon, google, Microsoft, flipkart, TCS, wipro, and many core companies like dr. Reddy, relience visit our campus for placement. But it becomes really difficult to get placement in a core company because of competition almost 80-90% students of my branch got placed most of them in non core. Highest package go around 50 lpa and average go around 15-20 lpa. I am also planning to get placement after completing my degree

After 12 I applied for UIT college but that was not as good as Graphic Era Hill University,as the number of placement are high in Graphic Era and the fees is also affordable comparing with UIT bad the infrastructure is also better then that of UIT's.I cleared the percentage criteria of UIT also but by comparing both the colleges in these parameters I choose Graphic Era Hill University The admission procedure in graphic Era is by filling and getting qualified in CUET exam,only the selected students get the seat and also students can take admission on the basis of their class 12 percentage.The cutoff percentage to get admission in B.Tech computer science in Graphic Era Hill University is 80 percent below that the seat for B.Tech in computer science is not allowed....Read More

I didn't apply for any other college. I chose this one because it was close to my house and is a really good college. It accepts many exams for admission.
