Likes

Library.Its actually a very good infrastructure and peaceful place to sit and study with abundant resources.
Placement Cell:The college provides a very good team for placement opportunities and the companies and very profound and worth
Faculty:The team which is behind each and every student of this institution.They are like the pillars who really are the key people for the sustain.

Dislikes

Hostel Washroom: Needed to be bit more neat more than that there is no hand shower...finding very hard for that
Classroom chair:Some are really bad conditioned
Classroom Fan:Facing really difficult during summer because some aren't working well

Course Curriculum Overview

The course I have opted for us btech data science,as it's sounds interesting I was quite fascinated and anxious at the same time to get to know more about this course and do a deep dive through it and I am very happy and proud with my decision so far.

Class Size: 62Course Fees: INR 124000 per year

Placement Experience

Placement cell of our institute is very enthusiastically framed and majority of the students are getting placed into renowned companies.So even me myself are putting a lot of effort and looking forward to get placed in a very good company. After getting my btech degree obviously I need a job through placement and side by side need to study data science related 3months course somewhere abroad.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure varies based on the program and admision quota: Like for government quota(merit):the total fee is approximately Rs87,225/annum. Management quota:the total fee is Rs160000/annum Additional fees includes hostel and transportation Also the exam registration fee which needed to be paid for each semester exam..and it's been increasing. Category wise fee structure based on SC are also to be mentioned here..as far as out of my knowledge it's free tuition fees for them. The free structure for scholarship students it's different..given according to their rank .

Campus Life

My overall experience as of now is not that bad.As a second year student of SCMS has been involved in a lot of programs and workshops and gained good experience. Sports and fest happening here is also a very beneficial and good.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel faculty is very good and they also do have a very good educational background.At times of help they are very supportive and always there with us whenever we need them.Menu also comparing with other hostels we do get really good food and well established canteen.

Hostel Fee: INR 75000 per year

Admission

Actually to be very honest I haven't heard of this institute before and didn't had any pre plans of going neither here or any other institute.I have completed my schooling in Dubai so clearly had no idea about anythere over here.But it was entirely a very new experience for me and I don't even regret being here.

Faculty

Talking about the faculty cell.The college has a well educated and highly experienced faculty board which provides holistic education to all the students out here. There are around 5+ departments and each department is been handled by qualified professionals.The whole team itself is big achievement for our institute.

Night Life

Haven't experienced night life of college as in we have curfew time for entering college . The gate closes by 6:45 pm and need to be in hostel by 7:45 pm.So talking about night life and entertainment nothing much.Even if are returning back late from home or any event we need to take prior permission from our warden .

Students in 7th and 8th semester are eligible to sit for campus placements. Companies like Oracle, Goldman Sachs, L&T, Bajaj, Caterpillar and PSU's like BEL,HPCL and BPCL come to the college usually the coding companies offer aroung 35-40 LPA CTC and the core PSU companies offer around 17-18 LPA. Highest Package is 51 LPA and an Average Package of 12 LPA. Nearly 85% students from Circuit and CS branch get placed and around 60% in core branches who sit for placements, My plans after getting the degree is to join MBA to learn how business world works and how the money flows

The other colleges i applied was all govt colleges.i couldn't got the rank to get there because i got less rank in keam exams.so i choose the best college i could get on my marks. I got 25526 rank in keam examination such that i cracked in here and also i wanted to be here because my super seniors where here they also insisted me that scms school of engineering is a good college.our college is a managemental college accredited by govt either we should crack keam exam or we should jee exam or we be nri quota. These are the 3 methods that we can get to scms school of engineering. SSET- from the viewpoint of a student

I applied to government colleges and MITS ,RIST and FISAT too among with SSET. But I got confirmation letter from SSET in my first allotment itself. I choose SSET because it has a great infrastructure and wide possibility of opportunities. One of my relative was an alumni of this college and I got to know about the college from her perspective. The response I got from others whenever I asked about my college was really positive and hence I chose SSET. I never got rejection from other colleges I applied to, I simply chose to settle in the first college I got allotted after my KEAM Rank list got published. I chose SSET over other colleges because other colleges were really expensive and I never wanted to push my family to go through such a hard time just for my education. Even though I got admitted to a really great college with a high quality course the fees there in one sem was twice the amount I had to pay in SSET for a year The admission process of my college was quite simple.All we had to do was submit my certificates and sign a few papers. It Lasted only one and half hours. The eligibility to get here included passing the KEAM Exam and having 50% or more pass mark in plus two. The student must have studied Science subject with either Biology or Computer Science as the main Subject. My overall admission experience was really great.
