What Students Say

Likes

The first thing i liked is the way of teaching our lecturers as they help each and every student personally
Second would be the hostel faculty as they have the best hostel near any other university or college
The sports faculty is also very very good they support almost every sport

Dislikes

fees is like too much more than any other college nearby
classes are way too long as it become much difficult for students to sit for soo long
They do not allow every student to do swimming as it is only opened for the marine students

Course Curriculum Overview

as AI is the most powerful and emerging category than any other type of course and also there will less crowd in this field so one can easily get good packages and reputation after choosing this course

Class Size: 76Course Fees: INR 300000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

i paid about 3 lakhs per year as tution fees is 3 lakhs including everything like caution fees , registration fees, develpoment fees and the lab fees also Like i,m doing BE with specialization of AI and ML that`s why my fees is 3 lakhs but if you do BE core than your fees will be around 2.4 lakhs

Campus Life

In our university every month there is a party night in we all the students dance along the famous personalities like Parmish verma ,Laddi Chahal and soo on those party are the parties which are meant to be remeberd forever

Hostel Facilities

Each and every facility is provided in our hostel like bed , study tables , ac ,fan ,Almirahs ,bed cuboard ,mirror ,attached washrooms ,socket plugs ,good lightning Our hostel mess is good and the food is also good' To register for the hostel they have a seperate platform called uhostel by which you can book and pay your hostel fees If you wanted a PG then you can look for the cities like Jansla and Rajpura

Hostel Fee: INR 144000 per year

Admission

I applied in the colleges like Christ university ,Manipal University and the Panjab University and i preffered those colleges over any other one beacause these colleges have much higher reputation than any other colleges

Faculty

So the faculty as i mentioned earlier that its very good and its very approachable to each and every student of the classroom and they do not deny to help students at any point of time whenever needed

Night Life

So the gym is only closed on the Sundays and the cafeterias are opened all over the week and The hostel timings are 5 am to 12 am which is also the campus timings The most famous hangout place in our university is the SQ1 cafe area

A student's perspective for his college

Course Curriculum Overview:

From the begning i was always into tech and computers i liked to make my school persentation on my pc and that's the main reason for taking the stream CSE . The curriculum makes you ready for thr real world application by providing classes for eveything that a student is facing problem. If you ask me for the suggestion then some teachers should change their tecahing methods so that they will help the student in a better way . The frequency and timing of the exam goes like the college conducts two internal exams for the internal marks known as MST and one final exam and the difficulty level is medium

Placement Experience:

after 3rd year or maybe in 6th semester many companies visited and very few visited both happens maintain your cgpa make your cgpa above 8 might be difficult but you might get adv highest or average doesnt matter then see how much package you getmaintain cgpa fill out the placement form also they charge 9000 in third year for your placement and dcpd trainign maybe - 50 percent placed well placement is poor after degree - internships job

Course Curriculum Overview:

Did some research and found that AI/Ml is quite popular around the globe and saw alot of future opportunity in this field. The msts were of 40 marks each with 60 mins to complete the exam and finals were of 60 marks with 3 hrs time limit. However student were allowed to leave the hall once half time is over.

When I'm in NITJ see what I got.

Placement Experience:

I think from 5th or 6th semester students can able to eligible for placement. Don't know exact data about the company company coming but there is good placement rate. 1.3CR highest package this year branch chemical engineering. In my Branch ICE there is more than 95% placement rate.

Here, the placement drive starts at the beginning of the 5th semester and goes till the end of the 8th semester. Here, all MNC like Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Capgemini, and many other companies come to our campus for hiring. Placement Experience:

In LPU placement process usually start from 6th semester onwards. Many good companies come to campus like Infosys, Wipro, TCS, Cognizant, Accenture, Amazon and few product based also. Some startups also visit. The no. of offers are quite large every year because batch size is big. Highest package I heard was around 40 LPA but that is very rare, only 1-2 students get. Average package is around 5–6 LPA for CSE branch. For other branches it is little bit low. Almost 80-85% students who are seriously preparing gets placement from college. College also provide placement training and soft skills classes which help in interviews.

I have applied in lpu,chandigarh University and chitkara university, i got confirmation for admission from lpu but i choose chitkara over lpu because of the croud numbers of students intake in cse branch in lpu its approx 10,000 students but in chitkara its 3000 only that why i choose this over that.yes i got rejected from punjab university as i got less marks in jee mains.the admission process of chitkara university is very simple you call college admissions office they will assigned you one counselor then you can ask any questions about college in details then he will give you online admission form link fill it and send to him done simple...Read More
