- Instrumentation and control engineering is not chill, it was true if you would have asked me ~8 year ago then probably I would said that it is a very chill branch but it is not.
- If you pick instrumentation and control engineering branch then you have to face a subject called signals and systems which is very tough. More than half student from senior batches still not cleared this subject
- Competition will be very have if you choose this branch
Course Curriculum Overview
Overall curriculum is fairly easy and doable. But as in every college you have to study by yourself but thankfully you will get content to study from YouTube . Pro tip : exam will not be like you will study one night and pass the exam . You need good knowledge over concept so you need to start studying atleast 15 day before.
Placement Experience
In your 7 semester you are eligible for campus placement . Highest can be upto 20-30 lpa and the average package is upto 10-15 lpa Instrumentation and control engineering is the only brand in coep which get 100% placement because number of students is low and their are many industries that requires instrumentation engineer
Fees and Financial Aid
1.For SC students college fees is 11750 if you apply and get the mahadbt scholarship otherwise you have to pay full fees which is ~1,33,000 rupees . 2. Hostel fees is 45,000/- + 10000 deposit 3. This fees structure I mentioned is for one year.
Campus Life
You well really going to enjoy your campus life because of many big and small events happens throughout the year. Their are many club which you can choose according to your liking Sometimes their will be club activities which will be hicket so be careful while joining club or any event
Hostel Facilities
In girls hostel rooms are allotted by your percentage like if your have good percentage then you will get room in main building otherwise you will get room in old building. To be honest their are many problems and cons of living in any building If I talk about mess food is quick actually good as compared to many other college mess
Admission
I choose this college because it's the best college in Maharashtra their this no doubts in that . I got this college in my cap round 1 . If I talk about cutoff which is pretty high for open category (more than 95 %) but for SC it can be upto 85%
Faculty
In general, Instrumentation and control engineering faculty is pretty experienced and knowledgeable. Most of the teachers are approachable and want to help you. But hod sir is very strict ( proxy mat lagana ). Otherwise very teacher is very good.
Night Life
For girls the in time in regular days is 9 pm for boys their this not perticular in time so If you are a boy you will really going to enjoy your life in hostel. Their are 2 main cantine in coep boat club cantine and meta cantine both are good but meta cantine have more variety and more space to sit and enjoy
