Course Curriculum Overview

Really good They really try hard for us to understand the concepts and also helps us in application of the same in real life too Even tho the campus is small they have utilised it to the max And we all truly appreciate that

Placement Experience

Placement of college is dependant upon the batches before us so if the batches before us perform bad then it will affect the placement possibiities of the batch who comes the next year so I wud say placements vary according to that compared to main govt colleges like cet

Fees and Financial Aid

I payed 45k yearly fees as I got govt seat whilenthe mg has 1 lakh fees I really love this college as it has freedom and is known for its placement The fees is okayish compared to the other colleges in our area

Campus Life

Campus Life is fun and there are lots of freedom U can enjoy college life There are lots of events also in this college Even though the campus is small they utilise it to the max Cult away which is one of the biggest college fest is also held by sct itself kudos to that

Admission

When I was joining this college this was the college with most placements and well known for its alumnis in big tier 1 companies hence I chose to get into this college Even tho I cud have gotten into cet but I won't get the course CS hence I chose this college

Faculty

Faculty members are really good than expected for a govt aided college and it really shows as they put in effort for getting result from the children rather than not trying at all They are even ready to give remedial classes for ones who are weak in their knowledge

Night Life

I don't have much info on this as I myself am a day scholar and from the experiences heard from the student and my friends it is fun and its not that bad Hostel timings vary accordingly And it is fun no matter what as there are many shops and it's the main road so its not that unsafe at night either

Placement Experience:

Placements cells are supportive in terms of networking with different companies and are readily active for the students competing in getting internships and placements. The college has a tie up with different companies like Infosys , Wipro , Deloitte , IBM , NVIDIA , Deshaw Private Limited etc. Students become eligible from semester 5 onwards for on campus placements. The offers made by these companies are 8 LPA to 9 LPA by deloitte , innfosys , and IBM but the highest package is being offered by Deshaw and NVIDIA that is 60 LPA and 47 LPA. The average package is around 11 LPA and the percentage of students getting placed are above 80%. My plan after getting the degree is to work for an IT Company to get the hands on knowledge about what the current technologies demand and get experienced in that and work further upon it.

Placement Experience:

From the semester 7 onwards the placement interview will begin.The company's like Infosys,Sutherland etc.But if we are doing externally that is also good.I'm planning on improving my skills first and then going abroad. The average package available would be 4 lakh per annum.

Experience as a first year student at NIT calicut

Placement Experience:

Here we recieve a really high number of offers this year it was around 970, The highest package received this year was 44.42 lpa and average was around 12 lpa Accenture, Bharat electronics limited are few of the top hirers, intel and nvidia also hire from here they are more relevant for ece students The percentage of students getting placed is 81% I will most probably try for a direct placement, I'm not thinking about higher studies(MTECH)after UG but that might change in the future

College Feels Like Home

Placement Experience:

The placement department in our college is great and is always trying to bring good companies to the college. The placement training starts from semester 7. Our top recruiter include Infosys, TCS, Wipro, NocoBD, Delloite, etc. and our mechanical, civil, EEE,ECE all got placements with avg of 4lpa.The highest package where 12 Lpa for SAP. My plans is to get a good job and lead a stable life.

I choose this college because it has vibrant campus life and freedom.It also has good placement records,good pass percentage. I also took due to distance advantage.This college also has good faculty, teaching. Although the campus is small, the infrastructure is well maintained. It has well structured labs.I also looked for cet, Trivandrum but I didn't get it because of my keam rank. The exam accepted for the course is keam and most of the students prefer it. A look inside Sct - Campus life, Academics and more

The main reason I chose this college was because this as under the Government of Kerala. It is held jointly by both government and ksrtc. This the standard of teachers will be better than other private colleges and campus life would be better as well. I have gotten confirmed admission from Amritha University and FISAT. I chose Sct because of the above given reason and also because of its location in trivandrum. I had applied to both Cet and Gect but I didn't pass the cutoff. The admission price for SCTCE is through KEAM which is held by the government of Kerala.
