What Students Say

Likes

The teaching faculties and teaching facilities are really good
The classroom are very good with proper lighting and air ventilation
The weekly timetable of classes is not very hectic

Dislikes

There is a lack of transportation facility.
The study material is too complicated .
The tests conducted have very less time gap between each test.

Course Curriculum Overview

Computer science and engineering course is what i have chosen. Subject like computer aided engineering drawing help create various designs and improves out thinking The practical syllabus seems little outdated.

Placement Experience

From seventh semester students become eligible for placements Around 100 to 110 companies visited and around 900 students placed Placement percentage is around 74% Highest package 47LPA Average 7LPA After degree planning on writing gate

Fees and Financial Aid

Kcet fees is Rs1,07,495 per year. College fees is Rs3,440 per year. No scholarships provided to me. OBC 2BG Category. Other batchmates fees: Comedk Rs2,60,000 per year Management Rs 10,00,000 per year

Campus Life

Annual cultural fest is UTSAV Annual technical fest is PHASE SHIFT Good classrooms and benches and boards and lighting Decent sports facilities Very good gym and large indoor stadium NSS club which is a social club helping connecting people

Admission

Got into BMSCE CSE as i had cleared the cutoff Got PES as well but it was too far Had applied for RVCE and MSRIT but could not get CSE core as the kcet cut-off was very high. Admission process was through KCET

Faculty

Student to faculty ratio is 16:1 Facult members are very approachable and available Asst Prof Ravishankar is good There are no teacher i dislike There are 3 internal exams and are of moderate difficulty 2% of the class fails to clear the exams The course curriculum is highly relevent

Night Life

Good gym Good places to eat Good places to pass time like parks 5 hostels present timings 5am to 9pm Free library and open till 6pm Famous hangout places lalbagh jaynagar forum mall cubbon park Very safe and posh area

My College Story

Placement Experience:

Students in my college have a very good amount of campus placements where students become eligible from the final year 7th semester however the placement cell starts training from the 1st year means 1st semester itself like training for aptitude test, coding and mock interviews. Top it companies like TCS infosys, wipro, Accenture, capgemini, cognizant, IBM, tech mahindra mind tree. The campus receives 300+ offers. The average package 8 - 10 LPA and highest package 54 LPA. Every year 90% students are placed. After my degree i am planning to higher studies in abroad.

My College Story

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is generally detailed and aligned with industry Expectations but there is still scope for modernisation in certain areas.Overall i would like to rate 8/10. The syllabus include both theoretical and multiple lab components which ensures hands on learning. The practical labs like programming work and project with learning help students understand how concepts are applied in real work places. A few theory heavy subjects feel outdated and no longer match the current industry demand this could be revised or replaced.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements from the 6th semester, but the overall placement scenario in DSCE for CSE is below average. Not even 50% of students get placed in good companies. Most students end up getting offers from mass recruiters or in sales and non-tech roles. Only a small percentage of top performers get decent technical packages. Companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Capgemini, Accenture, Cognizant, and a few mid-tier companies visit the campus, but the number of high-package, core-tech roles is very limited. The average package is on the lower side compared to other top COMEDK colleges. Because of this, many students plan for higher studies, certification courses, or off-campus drives after completing the degree. The on-campus placement support definitely needs improvement, especially for technical roles.”

Placement Experience:

The top companies like TCS Infosys Wipro Accenture Capgemini IBM tech Mahindra mind tree. The average is 8lpa. The highest 54 LPA. Overall 80% of students get placed in the final year. My plan after degree is to get a good job.

My Honest College Experience at CIT(Cambridge Institute of Technology)

Placement Experience:

The students who are studying in 7th semester ( final year) are eligible for campus placements but before that in 5th semester there is pre placement training like aptitude everything. Top companies visit for placement like TCS , infosys, wipro, accenture, capegemini, IBM, techmahindra, Mindtree. Average there are 150-250 offers. Average package is 7-8 lpa. The highest package is 54 lpa at botify company. 85 % of students get placed at cse branch and ai amd ml and civil 30 - 50% . Overall 80% students gets placed. My plan is join a top product based company liek google with a good life.

Great college with poor placement

Placement Experience:

Placements are the only bad thing about the college . Average ctc is only 4 lakhs per annum and only handful of students get actual placement.and rest get placed in either call center or training companies

Placement Experience:

The placement are good average packages 8 lakhs highest packages 35 lakhs and the companies include Google ,Microsoft ,service now companies and usually internships are provided as students become eligible for internship after 3rd year percentage of students getting placement 80% my plans still not yet decided

I applied the Bengalore top colleges and leats I given the Government Engineering college Raichur beacuse off my ranking perspectivley I got Raichur Government college and I have not that much money to pay private colleges so I added only government colleges where in Karnataka all located colleges for the government No I didn't got any rejection for the 1st round I got mentioned admission done college.
