Course Curriculum Overview
the teaching aspects made me choose this course and the proffesors are approahable in this course. The main reason for me choosing this course is the rate of campis placements and the average package of a student in this course is greater than the remaining courses provided
Internships Opportunities
jane street , optiver , jaguar and many more internship oppurtunities. most of the internships offered as technically based. many companies opt people with a good grade and technical skills .so you could say that the internship oppurtunies are great
Placement Experience
the students are eligible for campus placements from end of their 3rd year. many big companies like amazon visits here. I dont know about the highest salary offered but it was around 2 crore per annum. my plans after degree is to pursue masters
Fees and Financial Aid
so my tution fees is 100000 per semester and 43000 for the hostel. But as I am eligible for the obc category and my parents annual income is less than 1 lakh according to the income certificate i uploaded , so I am eligible for the full tution fees concession. my batchmates pays the normal fees as some of them are not applicable for any fees waivers.
Campus Life
the biggest cultural fest in asia RENDEZVOUs is held here every year during october and TRYST is the name of technical fest held here. Many kinds of books are available here at library and manystudents opt the library to study before their exams, teh sports and extracurricular activities here are the best and we have around 12 cultural clubs here
Hostel Facilities
the room provided is very small. It was actually room for a single person. bugt here 2 people are given such rooms. msny problems because of a single table and cupboard . the menu of food is great but the quality of the food is the worst. They simply dont care about the quality of food
Admission
I also applied for IIT BOMBAY and IIT MADRAS but unluckily my rank was not enough for those . my rank is 649 in jee advanced . so I was able to enroll in Cse course in btech here at IIT DELHI. The admission process is simply based on jee ranking.
Faculty
the faculty to student ratio is unexpected. a professor sometimes teaches a class of 300 students which makes impossible to approach the professor for any concerns. but in the tutorial classes it is easy to approach tutors as the number of students is less nearly 30-40 in the tutorials. there are quizzes and some surprise tests during the semester
Interview Experience
mostly the gd are about clubs and othe extracurricular activities like sports.many people play sdports here and many club events are hosted to participate. so ngl its the best campus ever . i recommend the campus to ppes who are intersted in a playfula nd good campuss
Night Life
thenight life is the best as I am a nightowl. usually sleep around 3AM in the morning so you could say that I am active the most during nights than the day. I was alloted shivalik hostel and there is no rule of timings here. you can leave and come to the hostel anytime
