Course Curriculum Overview
I chose electronics because i am passionate about it. You should choose what you are passionate about. The only issues is there are a lot of assignments and test is not spread throughout the week. They should keep classes and one test every day through the course of the week
Fees and Financial Aid
I am paying 3.5 lakhs per year plus 30 thousand miscellaneous fees and everything to get it to 19-20 lakhs for the entire course through management quota. The rest 6 lakhs is the hostel fees and need fees.
Campus Life
My experience at BMSIT has been vibrant, with a strong sense of community. I've been involved in several clubs, enjoyed engaging social events, and appreciated the modern infrastructure that supports both academics and extracurriculars.
Admission
I applied to almost all of the to colleges in Karnataka including BMSce, msrit, rv college. I took management quota cause my rank wasnt there. The eligibility is your real criteria should match and score well in boards
Faculty
The faculty to student ratio is around 1:65 and during exams 3: 65. The faculties are approachable. Everyone is good there is no he is better or she is better. The are a lot of exams so always try to find time during the day to practice maths
Night Life
The nightlife around BMSIT is relatively low-key compared to some other colleges in Bangalore. Since the campus is located in Yelahanka, the area is quieter and more residential. However, there are a few decent hangout spots nearby. Places like Galleria Mall and RMZ Galleria in Yelahanka have cafes, pubs, and restaurants where students often chill. If you're looking for a more vibrant nightlife, you’d need to head towards central Bangalore or areas like Indiranagar, Koramangala, or MG Road, which are about an hour's drive away depending on traffic. These spots have a lot of pubs, bars, and nightclubs, making them popular choices for weekend outings. But around the campus, most students prefer smaller gatherings, chai spots, or hostel events for evening fun.
