Course Curriculum Overview

4

This college is self affiliated that means it doesn't depend on others for exam and syllabus issues. The college takes us to different site visits including factories, waste treatment plants and sand and cement manufacturing plants to gives us real world experience for future. The trimester pattern is mixed experience sometimes it look like exams are gearing up too quicks and even sometimes if u had emergency cases (like long fever or accident( you might miss most the syllabus. It's also good sometimes as it doesn't give you time to waste, it keeps us stock to study and Focus. The exams are always within the syllabus and definitely but bit tough.

Internships Opportunities

4

There is different building companies who offered internship opportunities to the students. I wasn't remember name as I did internship in adani power plant in my hometown. But yes it provided internship opportunities to students in Pune metro construction.

Placement Experience

4

Different branches had different placement records. Talking about CSE almost all the students get placed if wanted and the average package is about 6-7 lakh. Among civil engineering being honest here the placement records is not good enough (might be low package company offers too). There are good companies visiting like Accenture, Z-Associates, TCS, L&T, Infosys, Wipro and lot others too. For us there is COVID situation is there in the placement years and it would definitely had affected the placement for other branches other than CSE.

Fees and Financial Aid

2,60,000 fees per year included tuition fees, lab fees, admission fees, along with Rural immersion and foreign trip fees. There is also tour promised per year to different states. Top 10 students of all branches received scholarship benefits as they get relaxation in the fees.

Campus Life

5

There is annual celebration of college festival with traditional clothing theme. There is sports opportunities provided by college during sports week program. There is program dedicated to invite various politicians, spiritual leaders, sportsman as well actors are offered to speak to enlighten us with their experience named bhartiya chatra sansad. There is different social clubs like NIRMITEE for civil engineering and different for all branches. There is different dance groups and photography groups and many more.

Admission

I hadn't applied for any other colleges to be honest. Yes I wanted the IIT but after not good enough JEE-Adavance exam I decided to ride on my luck based on mains score for this college and boom I got succeed in that atleast. The admission is based on JEE-MAINS exam score also state level B.tech admission exam in Maharashtra.

Faculty

4

There is approximately 60 students in the classroom out of which there are 4 groups of 15 students distributed to different teachers. Faculties are like friends, I never hesitate to approach them. Some of the best faculties are sudhir patil sir (Civil), meghana ma'am (Chemistry), Aparnaa ma'am (Civil), shahbaz Dandin sir (Civil), Shweta Mahajan ma'am (Civil) and lot more. Offcourse some of the faculties I even don't like, they are young and don't know why they always impose themselves on us. The exam point of view is that there is 3 Trimester per year and having mid-term exam in each trimester. Yes, students thinking passing overnight doesn't always gets success and do get backlog often but for me it isn't possible passed my curriculum without a single backlog. Yup, u read it right.

Night Life

4

There is gym in the college within the campus. There is cafeteria in the campus providing good food and refreshments in affordable prices. The college library is enough for all the book sources provided by faculties and might not need to go beyond that facing the exam. Campus timing is 8:30 to start and closing on different times be it 12:30, 1:30 or 3:30 PM depends on weekly timetable.

Placement Experience:

Placement in my college are decent, especially for computer related branches. Students usually become eliggible for campus placement from the 7th semester. The placement cell conducts taining programs from earlier semesters, including aptitude tests, technical sessions and mock interviews to prepare students. Many companies visit the campus every year, mainly from the IT and software sector. Some ofthe common recruiters include companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Capgemini, Cognizant and mid level companies. A few products based or higher paying companies also visit for specific branches. The average package is usually around 4-6 LPA while the highest package can go above 10-12 LPA in some years, especially for computer science and IT students. The placement percentage varies by branch, but overall, around 70-80 % of eligible students get placed with higher percentages in computer related branches. As for my personal plan, after completeing my degree, I aim to get a good campus placement in a reputed company and start my career in the engineering field. I also plan to keep improving my technical and communication skills during the course to increase my chances of getting a better package.
