Remarks

Because of discipline, diverse curriculum and exposure. Christ has a beautiful balance of all these components. Not only children learn how to manage time and study but also learn to create a perfect balance between curriculum and extra curricular activities. The course of mine was a specialisation course. Hence, we learnt more or less how to interpret everything in our terms.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

As mentioned earlier, because of discipline, diverse curriculum and exposure. Christ has a beautiful balance of all these components. Not only children learn how to manage time and study but also learn to create a perfect balance between curriculum and extra curricular activities. The course of mine was a specialisation course. Hence, we learnt more or less how to interpret everything in our terms.

Internships Opportunities

Yes, there were plethora of options especially if someone is into corporate office culture. However there is not much option for someone interested in developmental or public sector. Most of these corporate internships provide stipend between 10-15 k but in case of public sector it's different.

Placement Experience

1.5

Frankly speaking, our placement and it's system is quite confusing and not much detail is published on the website. They entertain mass recruiters. However, the process of registration, application etc is quite organised.

College Events

5

Not only children learn how to manage time and study but also learn to create a perfect balance between curriculum and extra curricular activities. Hence, we learnt more or less how to interpret everything in our terms. And every odd and even semester have there respective cultural events such as Darpan and Blossoms as a Deanery level fest. Whereas In bloom is a national level fest conducted every year in the month of February.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is quite good. It's cheap for almost all courses. And the university also provides us with enough flexibility of certificate courses in cheap rates. A plithora of courses are offered and at affordable prices. Moreover, apart from the yearly fees college doesn't charge anything.

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarship is offered in two way appreciation. First, for curricular activities with a prescribed criteria of attendance, min marks etc. Second for Extra curricular activities for every class. However, it is up to the students if they want to apply.

Campus Life

5

Not only children learn how to manage time and study but also learn to create a perfect balance between curriculum and extra curricular activities. The course of mine was a specialisation course. Hence, we learnt more or less how to interpret everything in our terms.

Hostel Facilities

1.5

Infrastructure is good and credible. Not one bench is out of order or not one building is not well maintained. Hostel room are airy and full of ventilation possibilities. However, there is no food provison.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes, as we graduate we are enrolled into an alumni portal and that is very helpful because everyone is enthusiastic to help and the network is very strong. Moreover, it becomes easier to find a contact.

Exam Structure

The exam structure is a three fold structure comprising of internal assessment, mid semester examination and end semester examination. Each having equal weight In the structure. Internal assessment are divided into two parts before mid semester and end semester; for promoting group work and research aptitude

Admission

I had to appear for an entrance of 60 marks, which was subdivided into further four sections comprising verbal ability, Economic knowledge, general knowledge and analytical skills. This was followed by a personal interview and marks assesment.

Faculty

4.5

Faculty is a selected bunch of excellence in Christ all of them come with a deep love for subject and teaching. We had a 3 years course and not one student availed tuitions for any kind so yes! That explains it all.

Placement Experience:

The university does have a placement team which faculy and student led. Studnets become eligible for placements towards the end of their fourth year - last semeter. Approximately 100-150 NGO's come to campus for recruiting. The university does not promote private firms for placement but students can apply indivitually. The average pay is 20 Lakh per year. Many students after undergraduation opt for higher studies, so is my plan. But most of the master's students opt for placement and 98% - 99% get placed into NGO in top positions. I plan to pursure a masters degree after my undergraduation, preferably in economics.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I selected BA(English) course. Because I was quite good at English that's why I chose it. And I still Didn't go to college. Because our class starting date didn't announce by the college (Kittel arts college, Dharwad). That's why I have no idea about teaching staff and facilities. Of course, I hope it will be the best that I heard about this (kittel arts college, Dharwad) college. I heard only positive comments about this college.

Placement Experience:

In the final year students become eligible for placements and we have placement cell also. In 2nd year only we have attended 2-4 news channels interview and training. But due to pandemic, we didn't attend placements and all. And our seniors to didn't attend for placements because they are interested in higher education. So the percentage of placements is not clear, but for us, they prepared fully to attend any type of job interviews and also to handle all juniur of news channel and newspaper.
