Remarks

If you want to complete your degree with good marks and as well as enjoy your college life in the same time St.philomina's is the place for you. The management always stays with the students and supports and promotes all the good programs.

Entrance Preview

This collage had a verity of interesting courses which has a good amount of opportunity in the future. And I took no entrance exams.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

The course which I opted for was a tripple main degree course with criminology, psychology and sociology as main subjects. As I am someone who wants to join union public service commission these subjects helps in many ways. The main papers are Criminology and forensic science, Psychology, Sociology

Internships Opportunities

I haven't yet enquired about the internship personally . I am not sure about it But I've heard that they do provides it and stipend given is not so bad.

Placement Experience

4

They have the best placement cell. Every year interviews of various MNCs and other companies are conducted. For the passing out students and they are assisted by the collage for their success. Companies are highly reputed and follows strict rules and regulations while choosing their employees.

College Events

5

Collage conducts technical, cultural and management fests every year. Apart that collage celebrates the collage day,the annual sports meet and various cultural programs. The collage doesn't hesitate to celebrate ONAM

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is comparatively feasible or less expensive. Fees is less for normal courses and are slightly high for self financings courses. There is a fee of 5000+ for students from outside Karnataka and 3000 to 5000 rs for second languages except Hindi and Kannada as they are national language and regional language respectively. Hostel fee +28000 a year

Fees and Financial Aid

There are scholarships to the students. Even though I haven't availed any of them I often notice them in the notice boards.

Placement Experience:

After the 2nd year, you are offered the option to register for placements. Various companies like Goldman Sachs, EY and NGOs like TeachForIndia visit the college yearly for placements. I am not very aware of the placement scenario in the college as I am planning on pursuing my masters immediately after college and hence, am not looking to get placed. The placement cell in the college is very functional however, and give time-to-time updates about placements and internship opportunities.

Psychology course curriculum is great. It's interesting and informational and you also get practical learning Optional English i regret choosing because it's not what i expected it to be. There's a lot of reading to be done and you have to be regular. the teachers don't really do a good job of making the subject interesting. there's 2 sets of exams mid sem is 25 marks end sem is 60 difficulty level - easy-medium
