Likes

I liked the faculty of the college. They just treat us like friends and are very supportive.
I liked the campus of the college which is very beautiful with gpod infrastructure.
There is a separate Language lab which improves English communication skill.

Dislikes

I disliked the canteen of the college as it is relatively small.
Political science lecturer need to be changed as he is not suitable for the post.
I expect certain improvements in the library .

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is excellent and it allows you to grow beyond your limitations. I chose this course to have a bright future in the English teaching field. The faculty is good enough and they are well qualified. The college has many PhD holding professors. The teaching method is very good and I didn't find any difficulty in passing the exam as I was the topper of my class.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 4960 per year

Placement Experience

The placement cell is very active in our college and it is headed by an associate professor. The students from the 1st to 6th semester are getting placed. Recently we had companies like Wipley, Optum, Toyota, Wipro, etc. The highest package is 7 lakh and the average package is around 3-4 lakh per year. I have planned to go for government jobs after my graduation.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is affordable to all sections of the society. There is no fee hike policy in the college. Instead, it accepted development fees for BA students. There are many scholarships available for the students like SSP, NSP, etc.

Campus Life

The campus is very beautiful and suitable for the study. The college organizes an Annual gathering at the end of the entire semester every year. There are over 50,000 books in the college library and the college extensively supports sports and extracurricular activities. Sdmchonavar.org is a website run by the college for the students. It has many clubs like the English Literary Club, Science Association, Economic Forum, etc.

Admission

The students who passed in 12th grade examination can apply for admission. There is no entrance test for the course. The application form, fees, and other services are available in the office room. There is a fee concession facility for backward class students and meritorious students. The admission process is very good and no improvements are needed in that.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because of the dual degree that it has to offer, christ is one of the very few institutions that offer dual degree and allow you to explore both the subjects or gain combined knowledge of both the subjects. The curriculum is very up to date with subjects that relate to real world problems. What i like the most about my curriculum is the Learner centric approach where they divide the class into halves so that the teacher student ratio can be maintained in order to achieve full efficiency. One area of improvement can be inculcating more soft skills traininng into it.

A good college for starting your new journey

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible to sit for placement in their final years. The companies which comes for the placement are deloitte, goldmanSachs, amazon and many more reputed companies. And they do make many offers. The highest package reports around 30 LPA and the average goes on around 3 to 4.5 LPA. Around 70-90 percent get placements. My plans is to pursue higher studies.

St claret - an honest review

Placement Experience:

Placements are good. Students arw given chances to take exams and get job opportunities from there. Field trips and internships, orientations, talk shows are organized to prepare students further before stepping out for jobs. They can either take the placements they get or opt for higher studies, which is what i am doing as a degree in psychology alone does not grant a wide scope in the jobs spectrum.

Placement Experience:

The placement training is providing by the college. And placement is also there. Ey, Deloitte, others companies also come to the college for the placement. The average package the company's provide is 7 lakh per annum. They 75% of students how are applied for the placement are getting the jobs. My plans after the degree is to go for higher studies.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements towards the final semester of their course. Currently, I have only been using the help of my faculty for internship opportunities, since I am not looking for placements. But they have connections with big names in the communication sector, and they often have personalities coming in to give talks and interact with the students. A great number of students opt for placements and approximately 90% of them do end up getting posted at really good companies. Others choose to continue with higher education. My plan after receiving my degree would be to take up a diploma in literature in the UK, while simultaneously finding myself a position at a good publishing house there.

My college experience

Placement Experience:

From my seniors, I hear that 20/30 % of students from our college get placed. But now being in my final sem I know the reality. For covid and lockdown, the placement sector has been badly hit. Only a handful of companies came this year (5/6 companies). 4/5 people from our batch are placed but no placement for the big chunk of people. From 5th sem students become eligible for placements but in 5th sem, no company came to our college for placement this year. Only in the 6th sem, the placement cell started. Companies that visited till now ( some of them came to take interns and didn't offer full-time jobs) 1) Clevertize, 2) Social Panga, 3) Robert Bosch GmbH, 4) Saatchi & Saatchi, 5) Publicis, 6)PR Pundit, 7) McKinsey, 8) Edsol Edtech, 9) Momo Media, 10) MSL, 11) Genesis BC, Offers: 1.5-3 LPA (average). I plan to send CVs personally to companies through LINKEDIN and other job search platforms because the college hasn't provided us with good placement offers as claimed.
