Bhandarkars Arts and Science College was established in 1963. The aim of the college is to meet the demand of the university education and make it available to the poorest sections of the rural community and also to create a sense of awareness among the students.

- The campus of the college covers an area of about 9.68 acres
- The large H-shaped four storied main building in the campus houses, 32 class rooms, 14 staff rooms, principal’s chamber, meeting hall, college office, laboratories , ladies common room, boys common room, natural history museum, history museum, multimedia language laboratory and audio-visual halls
- The four storied library building has a well equipped audio visual hall, a seminar hall, and art gallery in addition to the reference section, a general reading hall and a separate reading hall for lady students, news paper section, a separate wing for periodicals and journals, internet section and stack section

- College has great opportunities for developing Sportsmanship
- Some faculties are good & are experienced which makes us to understand better

- Some of the faculties are unexperienced and their teachings are hard to catch
- They put fine on even the smallest and also on the things which they could forgive
- For some reason I don't like the college very much

I didn't apply for many colleges girls there were less colleges in our area and most of the colleges were far from where we leave so we couldn't apply for many colleges. Since I didn't apply for many colleges I didn't get rejected from any of them

I didn't applied for any other college , I got admission directly in this college , and our college is best among other college . Our college is at top 1 in our district . The admission was quite simple the management will tell you all the process in simple way
Likes
- I loved going to college everyday just to meet my friends. But apart from that the college faculty and the facilities were top notch. I always admired my senior lecturers because they shared their experience and knowledge with us very friendly.
- The labs were great I have used physics lab and computer science lab. They had all the apparatus required for experimenting. Our college was the only college in which every experiment was done systematically. Computer labs were included with Ac.
- There were programs like college day, farewell, talents day, library functions and so on that made us feel very included and entertained. Apart from studies co- curricular activities were great in our college
Dislikes
- The manager in our college was not that cooperative with students which we did not like.
- The procedures in office would take a lot of time and any issues were not resolved immediately but had taken more time.
- Other than that I loved my college and there was nothing to dislike
Admission:
I was trying for engineering colleges but my cet rank was less than expected so I decided to some course that would be equal to engineering. And then the thought of my college came, since there was nice placement in our college I thought of joining it. After analysing my score in second pu I was admissioned to this college since my score was good not on any entrance exam.
Likes
- For girls their is special Enquiry committee about their health issues and personal problems.
- Good support for NCC, NSS, sports andel other Co-cuuricular activities.
- Seperate Indoor and outdoor games facilities, for girls and boys. And suggestion box available.
Dislikes
- Strict rules, that ais good also but too much strict also not good.

Bhandarkars' Arts and Science college Kundapura, Udupi has its own reputation in the society. It scored A rank in NAC. Comparing to other colleges here we get a very good teaching staff and also non teaching staff also very good. They treat every students equally. Mainly you can see a one of the very large library in our college which is very famous too.

- I appreciate my college for library management.our college had a large library consisting of 2000+ books.so that each and every students are gaining a good knowledge.
- Our campus life is good but need much better , interaction between lectures and staff and principal is also good.
- NCC was good and cadets are given an opportunity to start their career in there field.
Dislikes
- Events are less as compared to other college and college campus are less.
- Cleanliness in the washroom and surroundings should be done clean.
- Fresher party and other events must done as other college

I was interested in pursuing this college because,out college had gained golden jubilee and also teaching was good in our college and also we have experienced lectures in our college.even the staffs were also good helped in all the situations

- Washroom is not that much good it is little bit improve in this campus
- More preference for cultural activities because in this college they are not prefer cultural activities

- Everything about whole college ...they run the college for money not for providing a good education for the students....
- Especially BCA department they care about only marks if any student has scored good mark and being bucket they care otherwise they never cared... almost all the staff they don't know anything about the subject they thought
- They do only exam apart from exam nothing is there ...they all busy in making money...they promised about the champers...they can't even provide basic knowledge about the subject to student

Admission:
I choose my college because it has a well established reputation and offers specialised curriculum that alignes with my career goals. Location was a key factor to me as it's not too far from my location. There is also NCC army and navy in my college

- And also I like the college library facilities where I can able to study peacefully without any disturbance.
- And I like the college campus like structure of our college.
Dislikes
- I disliked the campus fest the most because they'll not let students to enjoy on that day also.
- And I hated college canteen food the most.
Admission:
I always wanted to do engineering but because of financial issues, I chose BCA to build my career. I chose this college because it is the only college in our city that has good teaching skills, especially for BCA. And also because it is the number one college in our city. I won't regret choosing this college. In our college, they'll only place 250 students in BCA as they believe in quality. There will be a cutoff of 80 % after the 100 admissions.

- Canteen food taste is below average and not good
- Some parts of the college building has become old
Admission:
The students need to have good marks in 12th to join the college. Application is given in the college office for which they charge 100 rupees. After a few days, they will call you for the admission. Internal exam are held twice in a semester which are not so easy but not also difficult. Admission process is good and doesn't need any improvement
