This is one of the good colleges affiliated to the guru gobind singh indraprastha university and is well located in the area between rajouri garden and hari nagar.The crowd of the college is great and great deal of students work in making name of the coll

Entrance Preview

I took IPU CET in 2013 and scored a rank of 14000 and got this college in the counselling and i opted for this college because of factors like location, quality of studies.

Internships Opportunities

The internship experience was very good as conducted by infosys and other tech-companies. It was basically a training session only. I don't remember exactly what was the stipend.

Placement Experience

Many tech-companies came to the campus for on-campus placement and recruitment drive.there were companies like infosys, hcl technologies and etc. The packages offered were around 3 to 4 lakhs.

College Events

The college celebrates its annual tech and cultural event called gates. The student participate in huge numbers.This event is of 3 days in which the last day is star night where a famous singer or celebrity perfomes in the college.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is like around 80000 to 90000 rupees per year which is i think is a bit expensive when compared to other government institutions like colleges of du.

Fees and Financial Aid

The college contributes in offering a government scheme for minorities like sikh category and other categories.It helps the students to get scholarships which helps them economically.

Campus Life

There are various societies in the campus which consists of some good societies like the ieee gtbit society, the technical society of gtbit (tsg), and epicture which is also another society.All society work in coordination for convenience of all societies.

Hostel Facilities

Tere is no hostel facilities here but enough of the p.g.s are available in the locality there. Average rental is about 5000-10000 per month depending on the property. The new mess food is better from previous year's canteen.

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna

The college were very helpful in various places as they help and guided how to tackle university exams and get internships. They also offer various opportunities for various events they keep organising.

Exam Structure

The exam structure is a bit hectic as the exams are every months and after every 30 to 40 days in a continuous manner which is not so easy at some times.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would say the course curriculum at DTU is quite relevant and comprehensive. The reason I chose this course was the mix of strong fundamentals in the first year—like Maths, Physics, Chemistry, and Programming—followed by department-specific core and elective courses that allow some flexibility and specialization. The curriculum gives a solid foundation for both real-world applications and further studies, especially through hands-on projects and lab work. That said, some areas could be improved, like including more industry exposure, internships, and practical case studies to bridge theory and real-world problems. Exams happen twice a semester (mid-terms and end-terms) and include assignments and projects as part of evaluation. While most exams are manageable if you keep up with the coursework, a few subjects can be challenging, and preparation is key to avoid surprises.

NIT Delhi: A Balanced Blend of Academics, Opportunities, and Campus Life

Placement Experience:

The annual placements at NIT Delhi are consistently getting better year by year where the top branches such as CSE, ECE, and IT are leading the way with their strong placement rates. Many students get hired at very attractive salaries by well-established companies like TCS, Infosys, Cognizant, Microsoft, and Amazon. For example, the CTC of the best offers have reached as high as ?15–20 LPA in some instances. The Mechanical, Civil, and Electrical branches also contribute to the university’s overall placement record to some extent. Those students usually boost the available opportunities for themselves by taking up internships and off-campus offers. Moreover, the students who fail to get a job on the campus can still benefit out of the college atmosphere where the strong basics of coding, projects, and practical skills are taught which makes the students quite employable at startups, off-campus, or even when going for higher studies like M.Tech/GATE/abroad. Great Placements but Campus needs improvements

Placement Experience:

After 3rd year students become eligible for campus placements. Almost 90% students gets placed. The top companies are Amazon, Apple, Microsoft, Google and Adobe. The highest package is 53 lacks and the average package is 20 lacs. I plan to become a software engineer after i complete my course or study further.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good. Students get hired, obviously, and they get a decent package. Highest package from our college is 52 LPA. Average package is 7-8 LPA. Highest package off campus is 1.2 Cr. Per annum.

I applied to all the colleges that come under GGSIPU and in the 1st round I got HMR and in the 2nd round of IPU counselling I got this college and then I booked this seat and got my seat allotment letter after paying 60000 for the required seat allotment fees! I chose this college over HMR because HMR is very far away from my home and this college is still nearer as compared to HMR As I said I applied to all the GGSIPU colleges but I got HMR is first round which is very far away from my college so I didnt chose it. So i didnt get rejection from any other college! The admisision process is very simple. You get the college on the basis of your JEE MAINS rank. Eligibility of this course and admission in college is 60% in pcm in 12 boards exam and jee mains entrance exams with good percentile. We can apply and find application form from GGSIPU site and we can fill the registration form and application form from there own site .Dates are mentioned on the GGSIPU website so you can check there.
