Honest review - Puducherry technological University

The course curriculum is on par with the schedule they prepare and all the classes are taken well with good classrooms and each class has a screen and every teacher presents powerpoint in order to make concepts understandable to the studenrs

Internship opportunities are plenty. Courses like NPTEL etc are given from first year itself and we have to complete 2 mandatory courses definitely by 4th year inorder to complete the btech course. You can start them from 2nd year or 1st year itself but preferably start them from 2nd year

Placements of the college are very well and many big companies like l&t, Infosys, amazon, wipro etcetera visit our college every year to take the brightest students for placing them in a very good jobs

The admission fee for each year in 4 years is 150000 and first year we have to pay 10000 for caution fee and 6000 for tution fee. The above details are for OBC category and other categories vary depending on the caste category

Campus Life of this university is good and great atmosphere and also they have a big sports ground and also an open air auditorium in which we can play indoor sports like tennis badminton carroms and in the ground sports like cricket volleyball basketball kabaddi kho kho are conducted

Hostel rooms are good but not so great. Menu of the hostel is good but you get chicken thrice weekly on Mondays sundays and Wednesdays. Other days food menu is not so great. Vegetarian options are plenty and sweets like gulabajamun are given to vegetarian opted students

I filled this college on choice filling of JEE Mains councelling i.e JOSAA and I got this college on CSAB final round. The admission process was swiftly done and no other qualifications required other than JEE

The faculties are expertise in their own sectors and they all have PhD in their respective fields. The exams are very well conducted with integrity and security. The exams toughness depends on the semester and the subject and also the course you take up on. Toughness range varies from moderate to tough
