Course Curriculum Overview
It's a 3 years professional course after the completion of graduation. It's a part of computer science and engineering. The exam structure for the course is semester based. There is 5 theoretical paper and 3 practical paper for every semester and in 3rd year there is compulsory project work.
Placement Experience
The record for the placement in our university is very good. In every year 70-80% students get their placements through the campusing in all engineering departments. Every type of industries and farms are come here to grant opportunities for there students.
College Events
Most of events and occasions are celebrated enthusiastically. All there students are very active to observe any kind of celebration. All the students came together to celebrate the occasional events. The university officials are very active to organize the motivational speech of famous personalities in every now and then.
Fee Structure And Facilities
It's one of cheapest university around india. The fee structure is too low that anyone can bear it and there is also a chance for a stipend which is provided by the university itself that gives back the full course fee.
Fees and Financial Aid
There is various kind of scholarships available for all of the departments.In the graduation level, one is INSPIRE scholarship ,which is provided by DST of India,and others are state level scholarships named as SVMCM,OASIS,AIKKASHREE etc.And I can assure anyone that to study in jadavpur university there is no need for any kind bank loans. The course fees are very affordable.
Campus Life
There is a separate practical labs for every department and all the labs have enough number of equipments that is needed. The sports culture of the university is very aggressive and take part in most of the state level sports championships.
Hostel Facilities
You I have opted the hostel and it has been informed to all that jadavpur university has provided numerous number of hostel room to the students and the hostel fee also affordable to most of students.The hostel room is given through a interview and once you cleared it a fully refundable security fee of 2000-3000 has to be deposited.There is also a free LAN connection for every boarder.
Alumni/Alumna
The senior junior relationship is very close which creates a great bond and as a result success result is very high for the students. In every aspects the alumnis are present to discuss and door out any kind of problem or matter.
Admission
I got admission in the course mca through the exam called JECA, organized by the joint entrance board of west bengal. It's a west bangal based competitive exam. One can appear in the exam after the graduation and can choose the college/university depend on his/her rank in the exam.
Faculty
Our department has 33 permanent faculty members.Most of them are very helpful and encouragous to all the students.They are always present to deliver the best at all time. They are very professional to guide every aspirants as per there strength.
