B.Tech (Bachelor of Technology) degree offers various facilities and resources to students to enhance their academic and personal development. There are much career options available after persuing the b tech degree.

NIT Durgapur Placement 2024 has not been released yet, it will be updated here once released. As per the placement statistics of 2023, the highest salary of INR 70 LPA was offered. Top reputed recruiters include TCS Ninja, PwC, ICICI Bank, Microsoft and many others. During the 2023 placement drive, more than 100 recruiters participated in the placement drive. 633 students were placed. During NIT Durgapur Placements 2023, the average salary stood at INR 13.64 LPA. NIT Durgapur has started the Summer Internship Placements 2022. Till now, a total of 7 companies visited the campus and offered internships to 44 students for the internship programs. I have decided to give the army exams and various upsc exams after getting a job after completing b tech degree.

I am now in my first year and 2nd semester is going on... So as per the fee structure of B tech 1st year 1st semester: Tuition fee - 62500 Admission fee - 3500 Caution money - 10000 Convocation fee - 1000 Alumni activity fee - 1000 Institute development fee - 2000 Training and placement fee - 1500 Lab fee - 2000 Library charge - 1200 Computing and Internet charge - 3000 Exam fee - 1200 Electricity and water charge - 1700 Student activity fee - 2500 Comprehensive insurance premium, health care and wellbeing charge - 1500 Hostel seat rent - 10000 Hostel establishment charge - 1500 Hostel caution money - 5000 Mess charge - 19000 Here, for sc/st/ph/family income<1 lakh, tuition fees is 100 percent waived and for students having family income between 1 to 5 lakh per annum, tuition fee is 2/3rd waived.... In 2nd semester, 48934 is takes as registration fees and 12280 as mess fee from me as I belong to the category of family income between 1 to 5 lakh.

There are many clubs like edc, dance, music, debating, math and tech, spic macay, literary cirle, cca, radio nitroz, strokes, sai, sae..... There are much opportunities for the showcase of different types of talents an individual is having.

The hostel room facilities are very nice, each person having individual tables, chairs and almirahs.... Rooms are large enough to accommodate three persons... The food quality of mess is also good.... Registration process is also easy, there is no such problem with that... Our hostel is mandatory and is affordable

I applied to Jadavpur University. There I have got chance to apply for production, civil, power engineering etc. and also I have got chance at cse at Calcutta University.... But I have preferred mechanical engineering at nit Durgapur over others because at Nit Durgapur, mechanical engineering is an old branch which have got best placements over all the other branches and also I like mechanical engineering.

The faculty to student ratio is adequate.... They are helpful to students... None to mention particularly, all are almost alike....There are 2 semester for each year, each semester has 2 exams, midterm and endterm.... The courses are not so much easy, not much difficult.... Some students may fail but they eventually make themselves up in the upcoming years.

Our hostel intime is 8:30pm..... So late night activities are not possible for us outside, but inside our hostels, we enjoy a lot... Inside the campus, wander cafe is there, which is a fav place for us and outside the campus, junction mall and iskcon temple is the most visited place
