- I really like the new building which is jijabai building block, it has very good labs and classes as well.
- I really like this staff and the Teachers of the college there very helpful and cooperative.
- The college has 30 + societies and each have different motive and Shivaji College society are one of the good society's of the DU college.
Dislikes
- Lack of sports facilities in the college which can be improved.
- The campus is not that big but small and beautiful.
- College don't have a good Cafeteria place.
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum is very good we are learning all the things which we are already taught in the 11th and 12th class the basic and here we are learning it in a full fledge manner. The curriculum is easy and practical with the help of curriculum we have learnt a lot of things in our environment as the are course is life science so basically will learn about the basics of science around us surrounding and environment.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees for first year student for the course of bsc life science is Rs 23,000. It is quite expensive as compared to the other DU colleges, but Shivaji College gives you the infrastructure and the facilities they take the amount as a fee. You only have to pay one time fee and that includes everything, registration fee, admission fee, development fee and lab fee. The fees for everyone is same no changes for any category. Shivaji College also Offers Scholarship and summer training camp as well. Overall the fee is worth paying.
Campus Life
My overall experience in this Shivaji College is really good like there are many societies in the college and they are really good because we have learned a lot of things due to societies and Shivaji College has two main function in an year. One is vibration the annual fest which is held in March. And second Shivraj which is held in February.
Admission
I choose this college because of its location, curriculum and faculty. The location is really at a good place it is very near from Metro around 500 m and the curriculum of this college is very good the additional courses are really nice and practical knowledge is more there. And the faculty are really awesome if we compare the arts faculty is really good as compared to science.
Faculty
If we talk about the faculties of Shivaji College the faculty is really nice the teachers I really helpful in every aspects, they always help us in our study and co curricular activities and in the assignment also. I really like Seema mam and Priyanka mam of Botany department, they are really nice and helpful. Botany Faculty is Awesome Chemistry Faculty is Good Zoology Faculty is Nice
Night Life
The college is in Rajouri Garden and we have a lot of excess to many things like Jim cafeteria library public area and there are many places to hangout we have Rajouri garden Market there we can get many things which we want like cafes hotels and many more. And if you guys want to chill there is a DDA market there we can get our grocery and the basic needs.
