The Sports Ground as of now is very big and contain very sports equipment .. as a sports enthusiast i really like that
Infrastructure is very good with lifts and best science facility available
Campus of college is very good with cozy vibe all around it. With so many greenery

Dislikes

Cafeteria.. i dont like Cafeteria as it gont provide a baic good menu and also rude staff behaviour
Auditorium is not well maintained.. but it generally in case of old audi not new audi
There is something inexcess to college garden which i dont like but genrally theya loow the entry

Course Curriculum Overview

I really want people to adopt this course as it provide a wide range of opportunities as of future as you can adopt from chenistry.. zoology or botany. Those who are unsure of they choices till now can definitely go for it. The exams are regulated very strictly and in a very systematic manner

Class Size: 95Course Fees: INR 25000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Shivaji College as of My Course have a yearly fee of approx 25k . But as my course contains many practicals course it is a bit higher than other courses also it varies on various reservation system. College also provide a scholarship for financially weak student with ranging 5k to 8k relaxation. 25k also contains 5k for medical faculity that is available in College

Campus Life

College organises Annual fest with also various events throughout the College. Like diwali mela.. or any other society fests. Library is very vast with wide range of book both physically and also contain digital archive with help very good

Admission

I apply for this course from delhi unibersity after my exam under CUET UG and got selected in third round of cutoff .. as this course cut off is not so high and generally a very likable by the students .. i havent apllied to any other colleges tho.

Faculty

The faculty of college are very knowledgeable and very eager to teach as they dont miss any of the classes that often. The exams happen on every semester with internal mid semester exams and end main exams with after 2 month we get the results

Night Life

Cafeteria close at approx 5 pm but as of library it close to 7pm.. college strts from 9 am and run to 5-6 pm . College dont provide hostel facilities but outside there are many places to roam.. as metro is near the college as it connected to any other places very well

I don't really know about the placement yet as I'm still in my 2nd year of college but the internship opportunities are quite good, you get a lot of well know as well as startup companies here looking for interns making it easily accessible to every course and year.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is too good. As my course is life sciences so instead of learning about only one core subject like in botany hons and zoology hons course, we get chance to learn about zoology, botany and chemistry simultaneously. That Also unlock a large no. of opportunities for my future. Acc to me the ratio of practical lab and theory classes should be increased like we only get 1 lab for one core subjects in a week so I think this no. Should be increased so that we can get more practical knowledge. The difficulty level of exams are too much High like it seems we're hons course students that should be decreased.

The course is superb, it combines everything, also the college offer great skill courses which helps to increase the employability. The exams occur after every 5 months and exams are not that much difficult if you have a knowledge of 12 th science you can easily clear it

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are for commerce background mostly, usually in 3rd year you might see some placements. I don't know exactly about thr company who visited because I wasn't enrolled in that particular course. Campus placements percentage is very low to be honest . 10-20% mostly. I'll pursue masters.

Shivaji College is Student Friendly!

Admission are through UG CUET and a score of 600-620 our of 800 is usually the cut-off for Shivaji College, Delhi. Not so good Not so bad

I already know about CUET because in my school some teachers came to our school to guide us about CUET .So after my 12th i started preparing for CUET as I already fill the form before my boards on CUET SAMARTH and the application fee was around 1500 for 7 subjects and it differ how many subject u have chosen then after my boards CUET exam date has been came and admit card also a.Then I gave my exams but the exam centre were not so good they were like so far and the area around the centre was not that great.After that I fill the form for DU admission on CSAS portal and it costed around 250 for SC and I gues for general it was about 500.Then CSAS portal has three application phases 1st is for the normal application form,2nd phase is for the reservation and 3rd is for the preference filling and then u wait for the result.And in 1st round I got PGDAV but I upgraded and got Shivaji college which is near to my home and I got botany hons in that....Read More
