Course Curriculum Overview

4

The curriculum covers academic as well as vocational skills. Hamdard is known for it's science courses, hence the curriculum matches the relevance of our respective knowledge in our subjects. The exams are held with enough time duration given for students to prepare throughout the semester. Difficulty level: moderate.

Placement Experience

4

The college placements depends upon the course. Mine is biotech hence my opportunities are widely for further research opportunities in India and abroad. But as for engineering the placements are great

Fees and Financial Aid

Year wise the tuition fees for bachelors in biotechnology is 1.15 lakhs for all categories. Tuition fees is 50k, examination and library fees is 5k each. Scholarships are provided for Muslim candidates.

Campus Life

5

The college has multiple societies and clubs to participate in. Regular fests and activities are held within the department or throught the campus. The fests are amazing and the budget seems decent each time. You get the benefits of a government college plus private college.

Admission

I had applied to multiple colleges but ended up choosing Hamdard because compared to private colleges, it is much affordable and reputed and if compared to government colleges, the crowd seems decent and academically is strict.

Faculty

4

The faculty is highly educated and trustworthy. They are experts in their field and know how to communicate with the students. It is easy to approach them. There are 3 internals per subject and 1 semester examination every 6 months. The difficulty of examination is moderate. Students who study well can easily pass. The course curriculum is absolutely relevant to our field of biology.

Night Life

4

There are numerous cafes and canteens throughout the university with delicious and hygienic food served. The campus is big enough to pass your time around for hours with open playground and such pretty greenery around

I will rate 10 out of 7 to this course curriculum because in this course the experiment and lab works is too low as compare to another courses like biomedical science, bsc zoology and many more. But it's ok I'm happy with this course.

Students become eligible for placements on the 3rd year, we have decent placement opportunities but not the best, highest package is around 15 lakhs. Companies that visit are Bain and Co., Urban Clap etc. average package is around 5 lakhs. My plans after getting the degree are getting into a master's programme and pursuing research.
