Likes

The faculties are highly qualified, approachable and skilled in their respective fields. Their teaching method emphasize both theoritical and practical understanding.
The placement cell is active and ensures good career oppertunities. As number of student admitted less go its an good oppertunity to be placed.
The curriculum is relevant and industry focused and trending and current topic in NLP or ML or DL.

Dislikes

This is only male college. Females are not allowed in this college for Computer Science.
While the mess food is not good. The varity and taste is not there is mess food.
There is no club and society in this college. Also there is no fest.

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum is comprehensive, industry focused , and prepare students very well for real world applications. Improvements could include for interdisciplinary courses and interactive teaching methods. Exams are challenging but fair.

Internships Opportunities

The college provided excellent opportunities , offering roles like SDE, Data Scientist, ML engineer etc. Companies like EY, Autowiz offers a good package. Outcome often include project reports, presentation and handling on learning experince and insudtry knowledge.

Placement Experience

Placement starts from the 3rd semester, with top companies like EY, Autowiz, Vista Intellegence etc. Highest package was 15 LPA, Median around 9 LPA in prev year. Post - degree , I plan to study either further studies or industry roles.

Fees and Financial Aid

The yearly fee include tution, lab, admission and development fees totaling 20000 for all category. But you will get scholarship based on your caste. Scholarship include Swami Vivekananda Scholarship. Fees increase slightly yearly.

Campus Life

Campus life is not good. There is no annual Fest. But one teach fest called Perceptron is organized every year by students. The library offers a wide range of books, while classrooms are well equipped with modern tech. There is an gym for students.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel offers basic amenities like study table and comfortable beds. There is no wifi in hostel. But campus is full wifi. You can go night in collge and study using wifi. Meals are not good. Registration is simple and affordable. Is there are some PG in walking distance but i have no knowledge about that how will it be.

Hostel Fee: INR 9000 per year

Admission

I choose this college for strong faculty and placements. Compared to others , it offers better practical explosure and labs. The admission process in Written test + Interview. Which is fair for students.

Faculty

The faculty -to-student ration is good, with approachable professors. Course structure is relevant and Indusrty focused, balancing theory and practicals. Exam are moderatly difficult, with high pass rate.

Night Life

The campus has a peaceful vibe at night. Hostels have curfews around 10 pm. After that there is an attendence system. The locality is safe , offerening a relaxed environment for students to unwind. The mall and other thing are their around our campus.

Actually Some of the Local Companies & Private banks Offer placements which are averagely worth 250000/-. Some of the Students appear for it , but the Number is Very less. Actually In Present Circumstances , Most students wants a stable Government, Especially Central Gov job . So they Prepare for exams like SSC , SBI , IBPS, LIC , RRB etc.

Niper Kolkata: from starting to end

Placement Experience:

2nd year students are eligible for the campus placement. Sai, Hetero, mendine, dr. Reddys etc companies visities for the campus placement. Offers ranges from 5-12 lpa. 60% students gets placed, 10% goes for higher studies and others get job off campus in my department. Other departments has 100% placement. My plans are pHd from Niper as it provides vast knowledge and instrumental exposure.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My decision to choose this course depended on the fact that this course provides you with the opportunity to get various jobs in the industries with a high lpa. But this college does not help much in that aspect. All I had to do was myself. It is my humble opinion that the institution should improve its guidance in the area of its teaching methods. The exams were twice a year and were quite difficult on their own.
