There are several courses even in metallurgical and materials engineering departments which are related to AI and mathematical modelling. This makes these relevant in real life applications and matches current applications. Gate examination can be cleared with the college academics. There is ko such need for improvement in academic section of college.

Internships are offered under several roles including data analyst, SDE, core roles, finance, etc. Stipend varies from 20k to 90k per month. Internships are for nearly 2 months in summers. You can get ppo offers after that.

In the 5th semester you are eligible for internships. Over 100 students were offered both core and non core internships. They later on got ppo offers. Placement stats is relatively good till now over 400 students have been placed with over 100 companies been visited.

Fee for each semester for all the years is around 66k. And hostel fees is around 41k per semester. Fee remission about 100% can be availed if annual income of family is less than 1 lakh per annum. And 2/3 fee remission can be availed if under 3 lakhs.

I have enjoyed my college life to the best! 4 years have been really amazing. I had joined over 5 clubs and participated in them very actively which gave be new skills, confidence, fluency in public speaking and personality development. Sports is actively encouraged in college and every thing including swimming is there for students.

Hostel facilities are one of the best features of college. We get double occupancy rooms in first 2 years of college then we get single rooms with 2 cupboards, a desk and a chair with a single bed. Washrooms are very clean and hygienic.

I couldn't get into any IIT, my JEE main rank was around 50k which fetched me VNIT, Nagpur. I chose this college because the branch metallurgy had a relatively easier course and I enjoyed my 4 years due to this. I wanted to move out of my home town that is why I preferred VNIT.

Some Professors are very strict in terms of maintaining attendance. But are very supportive in nature too if reasons are genuine. Sports is highly valued in our college. About examination: only 2 exams take place, mid and end term exams. The relevance of course curriculum is at par with gate examination and can easily get you a good score in that.

In time of 10 pm is there so you are not allowed to go out of campus after 10 pm. Within the campus library is accessible 24/7 and night canteens are also there. Many cafes and clubs are located around the college for leisure.
