Course Curriculum Overview

5

The Third year syllabus is vastly based upon MA part one's syllabus. The faculty prepare us for the masters program and further. They offer ample amount of courses like basic and advance counseling course, forensic counseling course, and fitness and health psychology course with 22 hours training and license.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is divided into to sub groups, aided and unaided. The fee for aided students is 8k appropriately and might differ for st/sc community, for unaided students the fee is 40,000 appropriately. For the third year if the student opt for majors in psychology the fee for both aided and unaided is 40k

Campus Life

5

There are several festivals which go on in the month of December. Every department has its own festival involving their subject. The bigges fest is 02 which happens in the campus which is quite huge. The department of psychology has its own fest which makes the student feel inclusive and also make them think deeper into the subject relevancy in the fest.

Admission

I got admitted in bhavans college and the sole reason was the infrastructure and the curriculum they were offering it was affordable as well as nearby to my home. The eligibility criteria of the college for psychology majors is 9 or above CGPA.

Faculty

5

The psychology faculty has ample number of professors with higher level of educational qualifications. The HOD of Psychology is Dr.Kranti Gawali who is excellent in her work profile. She has brought many opportunities for the students on board, and firmly engage in extra curriculum developmental skills. The exams are divided into 60-40 marks structure. 40 marks of internals and 60 is of external.

Night Life

4

The campus is filled with immense nature. It has natures park, nursery, lake with lots of turtles and fish in it. But the downside is we can't enter the lake side for safety purposes as it has water snakes in it. The cafeteria is good but is a bit small and can't accommodate more than 50 people, but the college is huge so you can sit wherever you want and have food.

The curriculum is neither difficult nor easy. It is a good curriculum for even an average student. The teacher mostly used the traditional teaching method. It needs to be improved. The exam's difficulty level is not so high again good for average students

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculam is designed for all round development of the student and to make that person an expert in that field, these aspects influeneced me to choose it. Very well, with extra paper of real world application on each subject it ensures that we take something from the course and become industry ready The teachings methods and cirriculam are excellent I don't think any changes are required Exams are all year round, every month and are extremly difficult to deal with, as Xavier's bar is very high.

Remarks:

Yes, there is no specific place where we get to know that whether the college is open or not on a specific day like the day which has been declared closed by the government. The college doesn’t provide this facility for us. We have to move all towards our home to the college to get this thing.
