- Events of MSU are it's heart. It provides a way to create a Network and improve your communication skills. So, I liked Events.
- Infrastructure here is very old but still the best as this university is since 1800. It gives feels like Mahal.
- Faculty Here is very experienced as this is one of the most oldest and prestigious University. They really help you.
Dislikes
- The course curriculum is a little bit old. They have updated but technologies are still old.
- Outside events don't happen here due to Politics.
- There are lot of Student Unions which oppose everything and it damages image of University.
Course Curriculum Overview
I was really passionate about Computers since childhood. So, it lead me to choose this course. Course curriculum here is little bit old. Few technologies are really not relevant but still in course. Otherwise course curriculum is decent and it means market standards. Course curriculum will prepare you for industry as it has good practical labs
Internships Opportunities
The companies which visit for Campus placement in 7th semester offer us Internship for 8th semester and once we complete Internship and final exams are completed and we have successfully passed then they offer us Full time role in same company. We have to submit a project which have worked upon in company to University as part of Final exam. Stipend offered was 8-12k per month.
Placement Experience
From 7th semester students become eligible for Placements. Talking about companies visited then last year more than 100 companies visited our campus and all were placed. Offers received were 130. 100% placement was there. Highest package was given by Oracle which was 19 LPA. Average package is 6 LPA. Profiles were Software engineer, DevOps Engineer, QA , GET. Placements are really good here.

For TFWS Students, Tution Fees is 0. So, For them Total Fees is Rs. 8340 Scholarships: There is DSW(Directorate of Student Welfare) Scholarship Provided by University to Students having family annual income less than 3.5 LPA and scored more than 55% in last semester. The amount of Scholarship is not fixed.
Campus Life
There are lots of Events held here every year. There are 4 major events held Footprints, Paramarsh, Prerna, Junoon. Each event is different and gives you chance to improve your social skills. Footprints is held around March, Paramarsh is held around September, Prerna is Held around August and Junoon is Held around February. Library is very diverse here and it has all types of Books and journals. For Sports we have University Pavillion which has all tournaments. We have GDSC Clubs in University.
Admission
1. Regarding Application of Other Colleges and answer to question 1, I applied in Nirma University, DDU Nadiad, LD Engineering College. I got confirmed admission in DDU and LD engineering. I choose MSU because it's very prestigious University since many years and it's fees is very affordable. Faculty Here is very experienced and Placements are also good compared to DDU and LD engineering. 2. Answer to Question 2, I got rejection in Nirma University as it had very high Merit. 3. Answer to Question 3, Admission process in my college MSU is through ACPC. Exams accepted are GUJCET, JEE Mains. Exam preferred by Gujarat Students is GUJCET. Cutoff can vary from students and level of paper. Overall admission experience is really good
Faculty
Faculty to Student Ratio is 1:20 . Faculty Here are really experienced and they will support you not only academically but also for personal issues. They are easily approachable. Faculty Here have a wide range of experience in different sectors so they guide you really well. Regarding exams, There are 2 Exams Per semester. One is Internal Assessment and Another is Semester End Exam. Internal Assessment exams are of 20 marks and Semester End Exam is of 80 marks. You can easily clear exams if you have done well in Internal Assessment exam.
Night Life
Gym is There in University Pavillion with very low fees. We have Nescafe Cafeteria inside our University near Pharmacy Department. Campus timings are 11 am to 5.30 pm. Hangout places outside of University are Sayaji Garden, Laxmi Vilas Palace, Polo ground. Also, Outside University there is a Famous Puff shop since many years. Whole Vadodara is Safe and every locality is Safe to roam.
