Course Curriculum Overview

4

Actually I am a partial dropper. And around my surroundings it is the good college in my opinion that's why I got admission in this college. And here provides a good nature for studying like other colleges. In this college's lecture hall and all classroom provides white board and projectors for learning. And the paper difficulty level is decent.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees structure: Course like B.sc general (physics) fees structure is for first semister and admission fees 1328 rupees (including playground, student union, tution, devlopment, lab, library, etc. fees) and for second semester fees is 1050 rupees which is total 2378 rupees for first year. And second year fees is total 2100 rupees ( which is divided. For 1050 for each two semesters ) rupees and third year fees same as second year. And college don't provided any discount in admission fees for minorities. =

Campus Life

5

There are many festivals in our college like saraswati puja, indipendent day, fresher's party and small parties which arrange by college student union. In the library you get mostly all books for study. And library also have a computer if you need. In every class you find white boards and projectors. College also arrange sports festivals.

Admission

I am a partial dropper that's why I don't applied many colleges. I applied nearby colleges in Barasat. I first applied in mop-up round and it's my first choice in my choice list and without any problem my admission request successed. In first I applied in WBCAP website for ug admission. I think you get apply if you get under 50 percent in 12th board. And the addmission process was smooth.

Faculty

3

The faculty-to-students ratio is good. Even I think the faculty are more than the students at ratio. And the all teachers are too helpful. They always assist us. I like Chemistry department because they are so much helpful in study. But the physics department as not helpful as other. And the exam papers are standard for students

Night Life

5

You don't find any gym in college and you find playable games in student union room. Library is open from morning ( nearby 7 a.m.) also the public is open from morning and it's closed end of the college study ( nearby 6 p.m.). There is no hostel for students. You hang out library, Anex building, main building also every places are safe for students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I think I'm a curious student. Integrating biology with technology is interesting Recently we are studying animal tissue culture plant tissue culture which is superb. Generating a plan from a single cell is truly something interesting. I was drawn to genetics and biotechnology application . This curriculum prepares a student for research and industrial purpose . We get to do lab experiments project work under professors. In my opinion improvement can be done by industrial visits Exams take place at the end of each semester and we have mid sems in between

Computers are so vast that masters is mandatory and therefore I have certain plans for that. However big scale IT companies come here and students of Computer science Hons have had placements worth 6-10 lakhs easily. My plans are to appear for the job interviews but not taking any as I want to study more.

Placement Experience:

College does provide internship opportunities both through the placement cell as well as department faculty. Semester 5 and Semester 7 students are eligible for placements. Average package is about 5.5 lakh per annum for microbiology course. Although placement percentage is on the lower side majority of students go for higher studies. Many prepare for exams like GATE, IIT JAM, etc.

Placement Experience:

college placements are good in this college with a number of good financial and consultancy firms coming in with new gen companies as well in the service and sales industry. moreoever getting a good placement in a top financial or consultancy placement requires a POR in a good society as a criteria, its not really required but adds to your chances of getting it. moreover you require to participate in a number of case study competitions for the same as well. my plans after graduation is probably working for a year or two after which i plan on doing my MBA. around 50-60% who apply get a placement.

The course also includes practical classes in the sound labs, editing labs and we will learn to use a camera, as one of the things we will have to do in this course is make films of our own.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the course curriculum in terms of relevance as moderately relevant. My decision to choose this course was primarily influenced by its research learning facility and practical based learning. The curriculum helps each individual to prepare for further comepetitive exams and expanding their jobs option with full and profound knowledge of data based works and computer skills. To enhance the course curriculum and teaching methods , I would suggests dedicating deep learning with lots of real life examples, updating the syllabus to recent advancements Providing recorded lectures would be of so much help and providing more opportunities for students to present their work giving them detailed feedback would improve the skills and learning capacity of the students.
