Great college atmosphere, even better teaching staffs

College management is very helpful if you know how to approach them. They are not hyper active about their work. But they will help you with your problem for sure.

As our college have all the general courses, no technical courses there is no on campus placements. But yes once you have successfully completed your course you will get lots of oppertunity according to your merit and Tallent. Most of the students opt for a Master degree course after graduation and some start preparing for jobs.

As I stated earlier this a college for general courses there were no on campus placements. But some of your batch mates for job during the course in TCS. TCS arrange a exam for Hons students. They participated and successfully cracked the exam and got a job.

We used to celebrate Teaches day, fairwell, freshers party. And the biggest event used to happen is Swaraswati Puja. All the events were full of cultural program. They prepare a team to perform to celebrate in the teachers day. We held a programme for all the teaching staffs also every dept arrange a different programs inside the dept.

As this is a govt institution, the fee structure is very clear and transparent. Course fee is less than you can think. We had to pay only 2000 per year including all the exam fees and all. And if you apply for a rebate you can get 50% to 100% rebate in you course fee.

I did not avail for any scholarships. But if your family earning is below poverty level. You can avail a huge rebate in your course fee. Your course fee will be almost zero.

Gender ration is almost equal. There were no discrimination about that. Ther are a badminton court, vollyball court in the backyard. Also there are a common room for all the students, Our favourite place in the college. We use to spend all the spare time there. There are carrom, table tennis Etc board games. Our college participate in a annual inter state badminton championship. That we won in our first year. I was a part of that team along with two others player. We also participate in a inter district badminton championship also. We won in that too. Politics is very specific in our college. They held a vote to nominate a committee for a union. Currently TMCP is in the power of that union. SFI, ABVP also there to fight in that vote.

You can find help from senior students and alumni as there are several groups in facebook for that. You can personally ask them about your problem. The seniors are also very helpful. We used to ask our problems and we used to get enough help from them.

They make a merit list according to higher secondary number. Then they start councelling. They take students untill all of their seats are booked. Then they start the class. If anyone leaves the course they arrange another councelling to fill those seats as well.

As this is a govt college you don't need to think about the faculty. You will get the best teachers guiding you throughout your course. In our department aka Physics Hons, there were atleast 10 faculty for 60 students. Huge class rooms with 5-6 practical labs.
