Remarks

The college should improve its teaching faculty. The faculty should be serious about their work and should look to teach children properly. The sports facilities also needs to be improved and children need to be provided with more opportunities in case of sports.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course is good but the exam structure is a bit off. It can be much better. The course for corporate law can be reduced as people have to study a lot. The exams should be held at a better time and not in december.

Placement Experience

The plavements and job opportunities are good. Companoes like KPMG provide placement opportunities in the college. The college also provides internship and the stipend is around 5k.The overall experience is great as well.

College Events

There are various sovial and cultural events celebrated in the college. Events like republic day, independance day and gandhi jayanti are widely celebrated in the college whereas the college has its own cultural festival as well

The fee structure is pretty feasible, the fees can be afforded by most of the people as it is a government college and hence the fees of the college is not that much and thus most people can afford it.

The college provides scholarships to students who score good marks in their examinations. This is really helpful for students who want to study but aren't financially stable. It is a reward for their hardwork.

The extracurricular activities like labs and the societies are really good in the college. There ample opportunities for students in this field. They are provided with great facilities as well, but the sporta facilities are not thay good and need a bit of improvement.

The alumni network in our college is realky good which is a great positive for all ghe students. The alumnis are really helpful and they are really cooperative as well. The alumni network in our college is one of the best around delhi university.

Admission

By standing in long lines to get the documents verifies and then paying an admission fees online. The documents are checked thoroughly and various proper documents have to be shown to the authority and then the payment of fees has to be made.

THE ALL ROUNDER

Likes

The college has a very beautiful greeny campus.
The library is just the best thing that the college has , it is the largest in du, with computers study area all books and magazines newspaper and other necessities.
The students and teachers are very kind helpful ambitious and intelligent , you will learn a lot here.

Dislikes

The administration sometimes works too slowly regarding dew things.
The canteen is very big and food is also nice but in rain water gets concentrated there.

Placement Experience:

it is said that the placements of this college are good and average being 10LPA and 17 LPA the highest. Many companies come for the placement drive every year and many of seniors have got placement in their third year.

Moments of happiness

Likes

I liked the ration of girls and boys it's almost same .
The teaching method of teachers and the library.
College infrastructure and various opportunities and sports ground .

Dislikes

Events in college are usually too short like till 5 pm only .
Classes starts at 8:40 in winters atleast it should start by 10 .

Placement Experience:

English hons is not a course in which placement is that widespread as far as I'm aware . But our college provides placements for other courses like b.com etc and we have placement cell which keeps updating us on internship or placement opportunities and overall package is quite good .

The professors in my college are very supportive
There is many opportunities in every field of engineering

The Dream College Life

Likes

The campus is completely different from the whole city, it is more cleaner and is quiet peaceful with various different beautiful views at different points and is not too big so could easily walk through the campus.
Has really great architecture of the buildings and is surrounded by really intelligent people including some over the top profs and some really great minds from the country.
The night life is completely different and is one of the best part of staying in campus.

Dislikes

some of the hostels are quiet old and need renovation.

Placement Experience:

If you study passionately and have decent communication skills and some important competencies, I assure you that you will secure a position in a great company. Here at IIT Delhi, you earn what you work for; you can receive salary packages as high as 2 crores, but some offers start as low as 4 lakhs per annum.

Fully solar energy used for electricity in Hostel and campus
Wi-Fi is working properly and fast all over the area.
Hostel and hostel mess are neat, well managed and hygienic

This course is newly introduced by seeing the upgradation of the industry by involving AI & ML in that work, this campus and course doing great work. There should be improvement in lab classes only and Exam are done easy to moderate level.

The opportunity of placements are very good.
Faculty is very helpful and strict at the same time.
The privilage of free treatments for students and their families.

Dislikes

The campus is small and no fests are there.
No canteen is there and only badminton court there .
Girls hostel is there but not so comfortable it is.

Placement Experience:

Placements are the best part of this whole course. Placements are provided vy the college, at the end of the course which is of duration of 4.5 years. The placements can be at Govt. Hospitals, like AIIMS.

Faculties of this institute are good and helps in understanding each and every thing clearly and also it is near to my house. Campus is also good with every facility that a student needs. This college also provide teaching material to students so that they can get their concepts clear even at the time of exams.

Pros and Cons of Dyal Singh College

Dyal Singh College comes under the University of Delhi this the admissions are done on the basis only CUET exam results. I had applied to other top Delhi University Colleges and some private colleges aswell however I didn't get very high marks in CUET and thus fell short of the cutoff of really big colleges but luckily I cleared this colleges cutoff and although I was accepted in a few other private colleges I chose this college as it offered not only great ROI but also a very active social life...Read More
