Course Curriculum Overview

3

The internal that is the unit test last till 1-2 weeks and the practicals and viva last for 1 week and the semester exam could last till 1-2 months ,which is a long period . The curriculum prepares us for the real IT world , how we have to work in the offices .

Placement Experience

3

This college gives campus placements but the ratio of getting any placement is low . Only a few students get placement from the college andnthe average package is 4lakhs to 5lakhs . And many companies offer placements in the campus

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees for a student with open caste is 1,25,000 which may increase and for the girls with obc/sc/st caste the fees is 10,000 to 13,000 only , for TFWS it is 13,000 to 20,000. The sc/st caste doesn't have to pay the tution fees but have to pay the rest . The fees may increase later . Scholarships are available.

Campus Life

3

The overall campus life is very nice , the overall campus is good but the social aspects or the clubs are not very active , they become active at some time but then again the become inactive , I feel the clubs heads are not that responsible to handle the particular club

Admission

I tried getting in the other college as this is not the best college , this college is a bit far and in a rural area which is a big disadvantage, I could have chosen the other college ,the other colleges have a good curriculum and a better campus than this college

Faculty

4

The course structure goes like : Firstly , the syllabus is taught to you and simultaneously the particals go on . Then the unit test 1 happens after that the unit test 2 , you have to get an average to pass the internal exam then the practical exams and the vivas start and then the final semester exam happens . There a few good faculties : Aniket sir : graphics and mechanics Neha mam : physics Sachin more sir : computer graphics Sushant gawade: DLCA

Night Life

3

There is not night life in the campus as that is a rural area, there are no shops around the college or any eateries around it , also the college doesn't consist of a hostel , so there is no night life because of it .

Remarks:

IIT Bombay is one of the best institutions in India. As per my best experience, it has the best organizational structure with very well managed. The bad point of campus life is a lot of freedom to students sometimes raises the question in my mind about the morals of the student graduating from the campus.

The institute being a Autonomous institute fully owned by the state Govt of Maharasthra, has a Board of Management nominated by the Govt. of Maharashtra. The Chairman of the BoM is a renowned industrialist Mr. Sunil Raythaththa from Jalna and is having a vision of taking this institute at another height. The other members are also industrialist and are playing a vital role in leading this institute on a right technical path of progress.

Remarks:

Good remark is IITB is the best campus to stay and build a career fulfill the dreams and enjoy the student life to the fullest. Bad remark is Research quality should be improved as many of the faculties does not actively participate in building the research career. Faculties should also be evaluated for the quality of teaching and research. Placement for research scholars or industrial collaboration are very poor especially in basic science fields like biology, chemistry, physics and there is a need of interdisciplinary programmes to improve the quality of education and research.
