- Nitc conducts marvelous fests such as thathwa and ragam, and that's a time to enjoy college life
- Campus life is good, there is so many place to hang out in the campus surrounding itself
- Infrastructure is good and facilities are great
Dislikes
- No gap between exams actually, exams finish within one week
- They conduct the fests either before or after 1-2 week of exams.
- Not affordable by everyone, i think they should reduce the fees
Course Curriculum Overview
This course is the best for one who chose to work in the teaching field. Who wouldn't love if you got a bachelor degree both in science and education? The options are maths, physics and chemistry. We also went to a nearly school to observe the classrooms.
Fees and Financial Aid
Since I'm hosteller, academic fees includes hostel rent also. Fees are according to income level. So for one lakh below,it is 12k as 9k for hostel rent. And this is for a sem, so per year 24k for academic fees This fee increases according to income level as 3 lakh and 5 lakh
Campus Life
Main fests are thathwa and ragam, thathwa was held on october and ragam is going to be conducted on coming February. Facilities are fine and we have a huge central library which also have a digital library Classes are also big and wide There are many clubs and most of the clubs are managed by students only Also the college have an active sports field and there is always internit competitions
Hostel Facilities
In hostel room, cot and one table and chair is provided In the case of food, both north food and south food is provided. Variety of the food varies according to each mess Hostel registrations are through hostel app and you can select your roommate There's also affordable pgs in and near kattangal
Admission
So many IIT's and NIT's offer this course, also some central universities also have it. I also applied to pondicherry university and cu of kasargod but i preferred nitc because of distance and as a better choice. Admission is through an exam called NCET and you only have to study plustwo syllabus. There's general subjects and languages also to write
Faculty
Faculties are with maximum qualifications and classes are great. Exams are moderate But feel like difficulty is increasind per sems. And if any student is unable to clear exams, then there's rex and makeup exams to rewrite and pass.
Night Life
Most facilities close within 12am Hostel curfew are also 12 am There's so many hangout places inside the campus such as creative zone, amphitheatre etc Also there's so many cafes and food spots outside the campus in kattangal The locality also shut down almost within 2 am
