Insightful college review : unveiling the students experience

So the curriculum is decided by the college authority I didn't know that much about what scene was now but in past 1-2 years their curriculum are oldest like oldest syllabus they thought in their college as it now I think it improves So course curriculum is good now College exam timing is good between 10 to 12:30 am so it is good

So after you complete your 7th semester you are eligible for college campus placement Some of companies like ibm, Infosys , tavisca , bmc , johnson control , TCS , cognizant and very rarely Microsoft etc So in 2023, the average package was 4 lpa and highest package was 14 lpa given by bmc (Pune) But as of 2024 , the placement was just 25 percent so the highest package was 4 lpa Percentage of placement varies year wise can't be say but it is almost 50-60 percent average percent depending on year wise I don't have any plan for this degree i took a partial drop of i do good then I immediately took admission some other good govt colleges and if not then I have to just take the degree not hoping for the best (placement)!!!

So basically it was a tier-3 college situated in kolkata. Although it was treated as semi-govt before 2023 but as it now it is completed private college with no overall return on investment (talking about placement) So the overall fees was upto 1 lakh in 1 semester later on it will getting reduce but not less than 70 thousand Tution fee will range upto 60,000 , sports fees and library 1,000 and college welfare development fees , including registration fees under makaut University is like 39 thousand so it's almost 1 lakh on 1 sem Coming in scholarship so college doesn't provide any scholarship you have to take only west bengal govt scholarship just like Swami vivekanand scholarship, oasis scholarship etc The fees are same as my other batchmates it's may differ lightly in tution fee but it was almost the same And if you avail Swami vivekanand scholarship you can have 60,000 for 12 months like for 6 months (sem) you have only 30,000

So the technical festival like bihaan are organised in the month of November and it is well being celebrated you feeling loved at this side Books are generally useful you can read many books ranges about 1000 books not more than that library is small with attached washroom that was the unique things I have seen No technology have been taught in 1st year later on May be it was but a little bit in cs classes the original professor are taught something about that Sports is good if you have money There is nothing free

I have very bad rank in wbjee i didn't got any college. I got only two college one is rcciit and other one is techno India university so the course fees are almost same and that time I thought rcciit was semi govt so after 4 years it may improve their placement facilities but I was totally wrong they didn't care about students And most importantly they told me that it is semi govt but reality is it is not semi govt it is purely private college So basic eligibility is you have to pass class 12 with pcm and overall aggregate should be 60 percent not pcm overall aggregate ( 5 subject min) and you have to take either wbjee or jee mains To very honest they really don't care about your entrance exam they only want one things now is money from student . So what I see and what happen if you didn't give entrance exam like jee mains or wbjee etc you don't have to worry the doors are always open to you from college side you just enter and take admission through decentralised. It it much easier to enter then you think

Faculty and student ratio is 1:10 not good at all Faculty are so poor that they even don't want to use lift as they stand a proper watchmen they are average faculties need to improve some manner I like the computer science and engineering dept as the professor they are really good and amazing teaching style was awesome and very caring and providing important tips and notes for student through what'saap and all physically notes given to students I didn't know about other facilities that much So there are three continuous internal assessments in every semester consists of 20 marks each subject out of 60 marks (3 assessment) It will counter as internal marks for end semester examination in theory out of 100 and same as practical you have attend all the practical classes if you miss you miss 10 marks for example subject like chemistry so be very careful each practical as 10 marks you have to do 6 experience out of 7 so it take marks as your internal practical marks out of 60 and remaing 40 was your end semester examination for practical Generally it is easy - medium to score good marks in continuous internal assessments So best of luck ????

I didn't face any group discussion or written test for admission There is no other process for admission in this college you have to pass class 12 along with pcm with 60 percent aggregate overall and you have take jee mains or wbjee that's it you got the admission

There is no gym right now , there is canteen which looks like jhopra and library is preety decent environment There is no hostel provided by the college if you have your own home there around college good if you have not then you have to take pg and if you don't want to take pg can't be say you have travel every day just like me You are free to enter in any time on college campus between 9 to 6 pm no one gonna stop you if are outsider or anything else It is situated in main kolkata as you know kolkata is a city of joy so there is huge number places you can visit
