Course Curriculum Overview

We should accept that course is somewhat old fashioned with much irrelevant topics, especially in core courses.However u would get enough free time to utilise it towards ur interestand field u want to explore

Class Size: 58Course Fees: INR 250000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

As a male general candidate I paid 98500 as tution fees(hostel included) +25k of mess,for one semester Fee structure are different for below 1 lakh,between 1-5 lakh and above 5 lakh,u can check on college site Most famous scholarship filled by most students is up scholarship,along it many financial aids are provided in form of competitions etc.

Campus Life

There are large number of clubs and societies For First year mainly cultural clubs such as quinty,core drams are open.however now aeronautics,robotics, green club are recruiting too From second year most coding club such as CC club gets opened

Admission

I got here through prestigious jee exam ,it's one and only top NIT in North zone ,which is already shown by cutoff in last few years.Also the top NIT with most Cse seats(around 400). For general male candidate cutoff can be expected 35-40k rank in mains

Faculty

Most of faculty members are helping in studies.They know their subject thoroughly Exams are quite balanced if u know the concepts and paid attention but marking scheme varies and in few subjects such as chemistry is horrible.

Night Life

For boys there is end time of 10 in first year ,from second year there is no end time For first year girls,end time se 8.30,which from second year becomes 10 Cafe 96,dewsis closes around 9-10,yamuna canteen opens till late night

Students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester (4th year). Few companies visit VBSPU for placements, and most are mass recruiters offering IT support and sales-related roles. Since placement opportunities are limited, only a small percentage of students secure on-campus jobs. Average Package: ~ 3-3.5 LPA Many students rely on off-campus placements through LinkedIn, referral hiring, or applying directly to companies. RECM - Underrated but a great future ahead.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible to appear for placement from seventh semester. In Civil Engg Dept 40 students enrolled for campus placement and 28 students were offered jobs till the final semester. L&T Infra, Tata Steel, Prism Cement, ACC Cement are some of the prime recruiters. Highest package offered was 7.5 lpa , lowest 4.2 lpa and median was 5.5 lpa. Profiles offered were Project Associate ,BIM Engineer, Site Supervisor, Area Head (Sales). 70% of students got placed in the first batch of this college from civil engg dept. Currently I am serving as Junior Engineer at DFCCIL (Railways).
