College of agriculture, karekere,Hassan (btech food technology)

I joined this course in this college because of well experienced teachers and because of good placement rate and also this college near to our district mandya . In my opinion course curriculum and teaching methods are good no need to change and difficulty level of exam is high because our college comes under university of agricultural sciences Bangalore.

In fourth year 8th semester of your course our college provide intership to every student. They are placed in different industries where everyone are monitored with this intership there chances of placement is increased

In our college placement is good and average package is 4lakh in 8th semester we are eligible for campus placement. In our college most go for masters and only few go for campus placement in this context there is 100 percent placement. Actually after getting this degree my plan to write civil services exam and to become IAS officer if it not happened I will do MBA.

In our college they follow semester fees structure total fee is 65360 but for first semester we have to pay 37000 this fee we directly paid to kea during our kcet councelling process. In college we have to pay 2200 for admission fee . In our college they provide two scholarship namely merit scholarships and general scholarship. Merit scholarships for top 2 students in class and next 8 members get general scholarship and along with this every student who admitted through kcet councelling they get SSP scholarship.

My experience in this college was good, because every teacher and friends were supportive. And in our college they celebrate all festival. In our library there is around 25000 books which covers our degree books and competitive exams books. In our college there is NSS it compulsory for 1st year students

Our hostel facility is good we have to pay 16000 as mess deposit and have to pay monthly hostel fee. An average in month mess bill range from 2500-3000. Food are hygiene and served timely.. so hostel food is good and adjustable for every student

Firstly I like to survive my future in food industry. In Karnataka there are 3 government college in dharwad, Hassan and Haveri. I prefer to choose Hassan college for btech in food technology because teaching faculties are good and well experienced and placement is better as compared to other colleges and it comes under university of agricultural sciences Bangalore. In my case I took admission through kcet . My seat is government seat

In our class there are 65 students and for first semester of food technology total 16 professor were taken classes. The relationship between students and teachers is like friend relationship because every teacher are very supportive and encouraging. I like two professor dr.vishwanatha Angadi and dr. Shashi Kumar because there teaching style is soo good along with studies they share their own experience while they are working in food industries. In college college there is two tests were conducted one is midterm and semester exam

Nightlife is good in our campus because I am staying in college hostel there is gym facilities like indoor gym and out door gym . In our college there is separate hostel for boys and girls and also our professor stay in quators which is near to our hostel. So, This hostel is safe for both male and female
