What Students Say
Likes
- I liked the college infrastructure and the campus is quite spacious
Dislikes
- Sometimes the teachers are rude and use rough language to students even when it's not needed.
Course Curriculum Overview
I liked the subject I chose which is English honors. I learn a lot of things from my syllabus, a ton of words, history of literature and a plethora of revered poems and novels. There are 6 semesters in total of which this is my third semester and the exams are ongoing.
Fees and Financial Aid
The first year fees was a little less than this year's fees which is rs. 8820 and I can remember last year (2023) it was around 6000 or 7000. The books are available for free at the allotted centres where we collect them from each year, so that is good thing. Overall I'd say that the fees is not that heavy for being a distant education structure, so it's reasonable.
Campus Life
As being a SOL students, these things are not offered for us and it's not a problem as choosing it means that most of the students can't attend their respective colleges because of work or other issues, so the people who would want to enjoy all of that should apply for regular colleges
Admission
Compared to other colleges, du offers a good no. of colleges and the quality is superior over other colleges. I chose distant education because I am learning French at alliance française delhi and I am currently at A2 level. So choosing distant education was the only choice if I want to do both things
Faculty
As I mentioned, the teachers are good but just a few of them use rough language around students, I can understand it's necessary to be strict around defiant students but misbehaving even with nice and polite ones.
Night Life
I have opted for a distant education system so these things are not valid for us. But for the regular students, I'm certain they are enjoying all these amenities such as a cafeteria, library, gym and much more. They must have explored the areas around their college and found good eateries and spots to sit and chat.
