Nothing negative all is positive. The best time one will spend in the campus. campus is actually the garden house of the maharaja of burdwan. there is a pond in the middle of the campus and a lot of green.
Course Curriculum Overview
There are 4 semester exam for this 2 years course. Professors are helpful & allow us to do experimental studies & writings. There are five papers in each semester and in the fourth semester one have to write a thesis paper on their own choice
Placement Experience
Overall experience is very good. As it is a degree college so placement chance is very low. Although a lot of students got jobs to different schools and some qualified NET with JRF. Previous year some schools from Hyderabad recruited our students.
College Events
Once in every year social is celebrated. All the 45 departments took part in the social. it continues for three days with various cultural programmes and competitions. Each departments have to submit a stall on the final day of social.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Total fee is around 4000 for two years. It is divided into 4 semesters. each semester is around 1000 and there is also scope for economically weaker persons. Their fee is refundable. Without this the 1st & 2nd student's fee is also refundable.
Fees and Financial Aid
No there is none. As the fee is very low no need of lone. Although there are some discounts for the economically weaker students. They don't need to pay anything. The only scholar one can get is State scholarship or central scholarship.
Campus Life
There is a gym inside premises. this year university football team went to china to play football match. Without this a lit of scope.for badminton, volleyball & cricket. Champion in CAB cricket league.
Alumni/Alumna
Very much helpful. There is no scope of ragging. In fact sometimes seniors help the juniors regarding study notes and study. Sometimes they give away their old books to needy students. during the social all work together.
Admission
I fill up the form & went for the admission test. Among 5000 students my rank was 19 & thus admitted to the Institution. The exam was on 100 mcq questions on History of English Literature. Later after the merit list I was called up there and took admission
Faculty
Extremely good. There are four professors & 6 assistant professors. Including them one is angshuman kar, a renowned bengali poet. other than this HOD is a photographer and one was an ex professor of BHU.
