MNNIT is a government college and an Institute of national importance.

Motilal Nehru national institute of technology allahabad is an Institute of national importance and very well keeps the legacy. Be it academics, placements, extra curricular activities, festivals, events it always does its best.

Course curriculum for computer science and engineering is good. We are taught everything in four years that is required in a computer science graduate. We have various sources like data structures, algorithms, automata DBMS, operating systems, networking, shell programming and many more. Exam Structure include two exams in a semester. Midsem exams are of 20 marks followed by 20 marks of TA. At the end of every semester we have Endsem Exams of 60 marks. Each subject have different credits score dependent on their importance.

Placements in my college are awesome and take place every year from very beginning of final year. Make tech companies come here to offer full time jobs to final year candidates and summer internship to pre final year candidates. Our college does not provide internships as such

We have many events in our college round the year starting with the Annual Techno-Management Fest called Avishkar which is a tech fest. Then we have Annual Athletic meet. Culrav is our Annual Cultural Fest. Rennaisance is an event to showcase startup ideas and also include tech talks amd much more We have inter and intra NIT sports Meet called Josh amd Jlal.

I would rate it expensive for a middle class family. But being a government college of national importance it is in accordance with other such universities. Its less than the fees of IITs but more than the provate colleges

Our college allows any type of scolarship to be availed offered by state or centre government. The only scolarship that college provide is the merit scholarship where the give a small amount of money to top 10 students of every department on the basis of their CGPA.

Extracurricular activities involved football, basketball, tennis, cricket, badminton, chess, carrom,music,dance,singing,drama,literary events,tech talks etc and each of this has their individual clubs for maintainance and conduction of events. Some of the labs have old equipmemts and some are very well furbished

Hostels are well maintained in terms of cleanliness but spacing is less. In a room for one two students are accommodated. But still rooms are small and cozy. With greenery around and well connected marketplace nearby

Our college is the first one to start a btech cource in CSE so it has the biggest alumni network in case of my department. Other department s are also functioning from a very long time. We have Annual alumni meet where a lot of prominent alumni comes and motivate their Juniors. They are very helpful whenever asked for. They even pay visit to hostels and complain the authorities if found something wrong.

I appeared for JEE Mains Exam conducted by CBSE. I got a rank which was within the cuttoff of this college so in counseling I was offered this college and took admission here. Procedure of addmission was simple. We just have to show our allotment letter and pay the required fees. Of course some document verification was done.

Department of Computer science have well qualified and dedicated faculty. Not comments for other departments. Concepts taught in class are very clear and well taken. Professors are good natured and help students in case of any difficulty
