Likes

Nice and cool environment which is necessary for a person to become comfortable
Friendly staff and explanation of study materials was good
Regular festivals and cultural activities involving celebrities

Dislikes

Poor infrastructure with some part of the building almost at risk of falling off
The food was not tasty in the cafeteria and the chef was not trained well
There were not many placement agencies at the job drives

Course Curriculum Overview

I was very good politically and had some interest to improve law and order as well and that influenced my decision to choose this course. This course helped me to understand the thinking of current political scenarios and provided ideas for improvement. The exam happened once a year and were easy

Internships Opportunities

I was offered roles of law intern with 5lpa and I was required to study various famous cases of the court and was asked to give my reviews about it with the improvements as per the laws which could have been implemented.

Placement Experience

Students become eligible after one year of course. I visited various media houses and law firms and was offered a package at 500000 per year. I wanted to dive in the career of politics or law and my percentage had to be over 55

Fees and Financial Aid

3500 per year fees 290 registration fees Other batchmates fees varied from 1500 to 15000 according to the course enrolled. Scholarships for students scoring 95 percent was available with financial aid of 500

Campus Life

Sports week and various cultural festival happened during my study time with stage dramas as well. Sports included volleyball, cricket and chess and complex club was present to solve the problems of the students.

Admission

I didnot apply for other colleges as i always wanted to study at DU due to low fees and quality education. First we need to register and then take an exam and we can get admission after clearance. Exams included political science and economics

Faculty

Students to faculty ratio was 1:50. I liked political science and hated history as the material of study was not well explained. The exams were easy and not many students got failed. Apart from history the syllabus was good.

Night Life

Dolma aunty momos, raju chaiwala, dhingra Pizz and central parks were main attractions. Hostel opening and closing times were 4 in the morning and 9 at night. It was very safe to room around at night with security personnel outside every building

Course Curriculum Overview:

Truth About Hidden IPCW (DU)

Placement Experience:

Since i am 2nd year myself, hearing from seniors, seeing placement cell activities and reading reports, placement at ipcw are decent but far from perfect. The placement drive is not as huge or reliable as some commerce Acc. to the nirf report, for ug courses out of 1204 eligible students 118 got placed, which is roughly 9-10, for pg course, out of 100 eligible students only 6 got placed. Median package for UG was 6.20 lakhs per annum, and for pg is 6.7 lakhs per annum. In earlier years (2022-23) , median UG package was higher. The highest package went to 23 lakhs per annum which was quite impressive. It was from DE Show and co., Wipro, Capgeminie etc. there are regular recruiters like DE. Shaw abd co.,Wipro, Capegemini, Godrej properties, Sirion Labs etc. What i feel personaly as an eco hons. student unless i build extra i cant really expect placement. Masters and competetive exams are next option

Life when you get into srcc
