Likes

Like.. college is fully covered with trees and plants.
Security rules...it has very good security system which doesn't allow everyone in to the campus
Faculty...not everyone but some lecturers are very much friendly

Dislikes

Bad sports management..like there are no enough grounds for practice
Attendance... It is about 80percentage which is very much high
Mess. Food is not that much good. In some hostels maintanence also not reach to the point

Course Curriculum Overview

All courses are very helpful but some courses which they put one respective branch it not suits for the branch..I think it is unnecessary for that branch people. But some courses are very much useful .

Class Size: 80Course Fees: INR 30000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

For one sem the fee is around 80000. For sc and st categories it less than that. I am not getting any scholarship. For sem in total 40000.... It is divided like 20000 for mess and another 20000 for establishment fee, current fee etc...

Campus Life

Yes, in clubs i enjoyed alot..as a club member i gained lot of knowledge and skills. I am a club member in aspirants club which is very much helpful in my studies towards upsc and other top exams in india

Admission

I choose it because it is a Central government college.. very helpful on my carrier.. I chose it because it is top nit in india. Passing out through college gives me good job offers and good carrier. .

Faculty

Some faculties are very much appreciated. The marking scheme is 30 for mid term exam, 50 for end term exam and 20 marks for TA . Some faculties are very much rude. some are good in marking scheme. Overall almost every one make sure that every student pass expect some teachers

Night Life

In night it is very pleasant we guys roam in college after dinner. It is a beautiful moment with friends to roam like that. As in every college most couples also walk but overall nights are more beautiful than mornings

Honest Opinion in the college

Placement Experience:

There are internship opportunities at the starting of 3rd year and job opportunities at the starting or 4th year. This year many companies visited the campus which include DE Shaw, Flipkart, Oracle, TCS, VISA(for summer internship drive), and various start-ups like Sarvam AI and many more. Highest package was 56.8LPA by DE Shaw. Flipkart took a total of 20 candidates (12 were selected for 34.5LPA and 8 for internship opportunities). Average package going around 9LPA. TCS mass recruited candidates for around 4 LPA, and ORACLE has been consistent at taking candidates for 24 to 25 LPA. Percentage of Students placed for CSE branch is 90. Many students opt for M Tech courses via GATE exam after getting their degree.

Value For money college

Course Curriculum Overview:

I mainly chose this course because the college is Autonomous, which allows them to update the syllabus faster than standard university colleges; seeing subjects like Python and Data Science in the early semesters really influenced my decision. The curriculum is decent for getting placed in service-based companies like TCS or Wipro since they focus heavily on the basics and aptitude, though for high-end product roles or research, you have to put in extra effort yourself. I definitely think they need to reduce the theory load and focus more on practical coding because sometimes it feels like we are just writing assignments instead of building things. Also, the junior faculty rely too much on reading from slides, which really needs to change to make classes more engaging. As for exams, it feels like we are always writing them since we have two internals and one end-semester exam per term. They are moderately difficult and the checking is strict, so you can't slack off, but the tight schedule can get quite exhausting.

Overall the college and the campus is very good but the exam pattern is worse so it should be improved

The course and curriculum is nice as they are interelated to each other and encourage us to study more and makes us more curious to learn new things but we have some minor course which I don't think it is required for the course and we only have some credits for that course not even exam is being conducted

Placement Experience:

From 6th sem of completion eligible to sit in placement called by campus placement in university. Companies like accenture, techmahindra,tech bee,and wipro comes for hiring. Highest package till now is 29 lpa and lowest is 1.5 lpa. Average package is 5lpa. Mostly 80 percentage of students getting placement from campus drive. My plan after getting degree is getting job from campus drive.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placement from their 3rd year onwards. It has been only 2-3 months but I have seen several companies arriving at the college, prominent ones being Flipkar,Deloitte, Xerox, TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Microsoft, Dell and several others including startups. There is no accurate data on how many offers have been made this year, but there are rumours that more than 95% of the eligible students have got placements. After getting a degree my plans are if I dont land into a satisfying job then I will start my preparation of the military or start a new business.
